Hi Guys,

I have been looking at Lebron and Jordan autos and obviously there is a massive price difference in the different cards and autos.

From what I can see (happy to be corrected):

1. PSA is preferred for non auto cards (especially Jordan cards) but its seems preference is given to Beckett for autos both MJ and Lebron. Is this the general consensus?

2. Jordan bulls jersey cards are valued higher than college jerseys. The reason make sense.

3. There is a massive price difference in autos even for just the bulls or cavs jerseys so how do people price/value the cards? There is a serious lack of comparable sales and low numbered cards especially when compared to insert sets. How do you guys approach this?

Im taking out the obvious cards that hold a higher value out of the equation - such as rookie cards, patch cards (logos, etc).

Yes Jordan Bulls (or even Wizards) autos command a premium over his recent non NBA licensed Upper Deck autos, and for obvious reason. UD maintained rights for Jordan autos but hasn't been able to make anything in his NBA uniforms since they lost their NBA license. People in general likes pro uniform cards more than college or unlicensed cards. Unless it's a guy like Tim Tebow whose famous due to his college accolades.

His college autos are great choices for most collectors, because they are still affordable comparing to his Bull autos, but their current prices are already doubled or tripled since a couple of years ago.
