I have quite a few base cards that don't include rookies or inserts, so I am wondering what everyone else does with them! :)

I donate them usually. Spread the love!
I’ve given all my baseball base away to my nephew's team (5 - 7 year olds) over a period of time. I’d love to give my basketball away too, but just haven’t found the right avenue yet.

I usually sleep with them first, then eat them.

they're literally just taking up space in the guest room. stack of monster boxes. I think all the paper stuff I need to toss / give away, but scour the Prizm for 2nd year bass cuz apparently that's all the rage these days

I have given them away, donated in boxes to Goodwill, and for minor stars or cheaper star cards, box them up for charity donations. I have also burned more than a few.
We could make a gentlemen's agreement to burn 95 percent of our 90s cards and some might be worth something, except there are very few gentlemen in this hobby.

Have about 200 boxes of baseball commons from '84-2020 in shelves lining the walls of my garage...
Im a high school baseball coach and we give handfuls to little kids at the snack bar every game.
For basketball cards, lately Ive been able to organize into lots and get surprisingly strong prices on eBay. Strong enough to be worth the time and effort anyways.

Kept them, but if I have multiples of same player I usually use as filler to protect the main card(s) that I ship. I found a base stack that had a 2nd year MPJ Orange Prizm and a 2nd year Prizm Silver. I couldn't believe the prices they are going for now. Before I ended the auction 2 months ago, I was listing base Prizms and colors of 50 cards for $5.

This. Filler to pad the actual sold item.

I was actually just wondering this same question after I read in a thread someone said they donated a lot of their cards. where do you all donate them?
For me they are just sitting there on my tradelist/pile for infinity lol. I am a set collector though so i see some value in these as sometimes people are looking for obscure cheap cards to complete a set, keep set collectors in mind with these :)
Similar question with what do you do with your cards that clearly have a dinged corner or some flaw/are not in NM condition. I just throw mine in a box regardless of who the card was. But i realized that for some really valuable stars or players if it is a sought after card some people will even take a card that isn't perfect an pay less if its in demand.
