So many breaks loaded into their Ebay store, some amazing prices on very good teams. Are these too good to be true? Do they just have a bunch of back stock they are clearing out? What's the deal with them?? Anybody break with them , is it worth it?

I've used them a few times and they're legit. Sometimes they're slow to update prices so you can find good deals. The downside is some of these breaks take very long to fill (I've been waiting on one since January). I feel like they're slow to fill because sometimes they overprice "bad" teams in PYT breaks.

It's like sensory overload on their Ebay page, it seems like hundreds of new breaks listed, some prices just seem too good to be true. Just wondering what the deal is? why so many new listings now

I have done a couple breaks with them, super nice guys. However, as people have mentioned, the breaks take forever to fill. I have given up super cheap spots in breaks before because I knew the things would never fill. Basically, if you buy up all the good spots at presale price, then you have 10 crap teams left at meh pricing. Then if the price of the case goes up, they have to jack the prices of the remaining teams so they can pay for the case (as far as I understand it they don't keep the cases on hand, which is a mistake). So you're left with crap teams at ridiculous prices, and your choice is either to buy those remaining, or give up the spots.
As for the "new" breaks, I noticed ones I had spots in disappeared and emailed him about it earlier. Here was the response:
Hello. The break will be back up within the next couple of days. eBay is requiring an update to the listing descriptions for all their breaking companies. This requires the original listing to end, and a new one relisted (with of course the same teams that were sold and available), and all the sellers data and info is also retained. The website also gets all the break info from eBay, so the website is affected as well. So thank you for your patience, but its important we stay in compliance with eBay policies. So again, this should not take longer than 24-48 hours
Just as a warning, there were spots in those breaks that should have shown up as Sold as soon as they were posted, to tie back with what had already been sold. If ebay and the website didn't sync, they'll probably have to issue cancellations on the new purchases.

So if I am understanding the response they sent you, the reason that so many new breaks are showing up on Ebay is because Chamax had to update their selling policy in their descriptions. So that means most of the good teams that are available for purchase now, have actually already been purchased.
So I guess if you buy a team and it turns out someone previously had that spot purchased already then you will get a refund??
Some of the Baseball seems so undrepriced, especially the Bowman teams from 2018. The 2016 NT Basketball seems underpriced too, especially sense stuff has gone crazy

It might be possible that the teams are available, but yeah I'd assume if you bought a team that had previously been purchased before they were forced to reset, it would go to the person who bought it first.
only one way to find out, what's the worst that could happen you receive a refund in a few days

Chamax cards blows. They have screwed several people over the past few years via breaks and other transactions. They don't have the product in hand when they list their breaks, meaning if the price of the product goes up while the break is filling they will just cancel the break once it fills (yes, they hold your funds this entire time) and then they will relist the break at higher prices.
I could write a lot more about them but it all boils down to two things: Their business operation is a joke and they are the only Canadians I have ever had a bad thing to say about.
Yeah, I have to say that I've had a couple of bad experiences with them. I bought into one Ebay break that went pretty smoothly a year or so ago, but then when buying into breaks from their website (they cross-list the same ones on there and Ebay) I found myself waiting for months for them to fill. After asking for a refund and being told that it'd be done right away, I'm waiting weeks for the Paypal to come through. Eventually after chasing them I rashly took the refund in site credit because they offered me a discount code, but then bought into a different break that I thought had a better chance of actually happening.
Reader, it didn't. So then I had to get another refund, which needed more chasing before eventually I got my money back. I just think it's a really problematic business model that involves holding folks' money for them for extended periods of time, being slow to pay it back (if at all) and really kind of selling things that you don't have.

I bought the Mavs in a 18-19 Revolution case break (8 boxes) a few months ago for $370. It never broke. It got cancelled recently and now there's a new listing for it and the Mavs spot is $1,160. That's a #@#@#@#@ing joke, man. Didn't even think to look if it got re-listed until I read this thread.

it is now Aug, how can you say someone is legit when you have been waiting approx 7 months for a break - that in no way signifies legit in my mind.

Most everyone has already mentioned their business practices. They can be cheap to start off with, but good chance the case will never be broken and you just have your money tied up for X months. Be different if they had the product in hand, but with today's market, this type of setup they have is not feasible.
If you look around, you can find breakers that have product for cheap on the onset and can still take a while to fill, but they at least have the product in hand and not raising prices as case prices continue to rise. I bought into a couple of case breaks like this and it was good for me cause the values were increasing, but the teams he had listed never changed so eventually people bought out the rest of the teams. For these, I have waited in upwards of 2 months but was worth it in the end.

I don't break much... but Chamax is the only breaker I've used multiple times. No issues. They've got a wide variety available but they take forever to fill. It would be nice if they'd auction off the last 5 spots or so on ebay just to get things moving. Otherwise they can sit forever. I have a Panini Noir case break that's been sitting for months now.

They suck, I’m in on 3 basketball breaks currently waiting 2 months now. In soccer, waited 2 months then I get an email that I’m being refunded, it was obvious with unopened going up they were selling inventory off. I’m done with them.

No issues other than time it takes to break some of the stuff. They have a huge selection. No issue when asking for refund either. If they changed the way they fill they would be alot better, rhey just don't break many cases each day. Check yt for frequency if ur considering buying is my advice.

They are 100% scammers. I bought into a soccer break. The prices of good teams are good, so they sell out. The bad teams are however grossly overpriced, so they never fill and Chamax doesn't drop their prices. Essentially, they either force you to buy overpriced bad teams to fill the break or use what you paid for good teams as an interest-free loan. They don't formally allow refunds, but they can transfer you into another break of theirs, but it is the same story - it never fills because bad teams are grossly overpriced. I finally managed to get a refund through Paypal's buyer's protection program, but it wasn't straightforward: Chamax appealed using their breaks conditions and I had to fight back. Run far and run fast.

Lol. Yea... I guess I'm being too generous here. I typically have so many different hobby things going that sitting in a unfilled break doesn't bother me much.
IMO I think they are reputable, but their approach could use some tweaks.
Also I have a 2 yo and 4 yo. My patience has become damn near unbounded.
New hot take: If it's a product you are really jonesing for, be careful.

Well since i didnt have time earlier to write out a post here goes. I bought with them last year in feb or march iirc i had like 500$ worth of teams. I chose them because i live in canada and they are based in canada so cheap shipping etc.
By may none of my breaks were even at half sold. I emailed him asking for refund, no answer. Few days later I email telling him im going to do a chargeback then instantly get an answer and refund. You are buying spots for product he doesnt have that is the biggest issue.

Pure scammer, I had bought 19/20 prizm basketball before release date and just $104 per random spot, the break filled fast but had waited for months until someone cancelled Some spots then they relisted at a ridiculous price like $5xx. So I can.say they use the same trick every time to hold your fund.

100% correct. Welcome to Chamax Loans...list hot products with cheap PYT prices, hope to lure FOMO collectors, then use that money to fund the next scam. Rinse and repeat.

Super scammers! I’ve had money tied with them for over a year now!!!! They lure you into buying good teams at decent prices and then they mark up the bad teams at prices so ridiculous that no one will buy them. I will never buy anything from them ever again. Something needs to be done to stop these swindlers!

They are scam artists. Basically if you get a good deal, you will wind up waiting a very long time for your break to fill. By the time your break fills, you will notice that they re-sold your spot to another person. It happens like clockwork that they have trouble filling a break, and then re-sell teams without refunding the initial buyer. Then from there you have to solve the problem with them. There are other scenarios where your break never fills, and you eventually get upset with the time you've wasted and ask for a refund. Then the very rare scenario that your break runs, with you in it, and almost always this is a break that filled quickly, a new release, where you did not get a great deal, or they were able to sell the huge teams to a sucker so you snuck in a win.
Long story short, never deal with these guys. I hit some pretty big cards with them that they said they sent to me, but never did. They re-sold the team that I had purchased without ever refunding me. It was the 3rd time I had watched their breaks and saw that a team I purchased was re-sold to someone else. The other 2 times they sent me the cards, which were net losses for me. They are scammers. They'd probably have about 40% positive feedback on eBay if you were allowed to leave feedback past the 60 day window.
