Lebron is apparently selling game-worn shoes, well one shoe - the other one is going in his school he built

One shoe seems a bit odd as a clector.

I'd imagine Perfect Pair is going to end up wiping out most of the inventory.

This made me think about how many players wear a new pair of shoes for every game? I know having flashy shoes are a big thing for many basketball players. I think it would be more comfortable to wear a pair of broken in shoes than a brand new pair every game but who knows. Some players wear a different pair for each half.

So many XIII and XIV. Two of his worst silhouettes

For sure. I actually don’t know even one game worn collector who collects single shoes.

I'm curious how the pricing compares to his gamer pairs. Yeah, it just doesn't look right when displayed, either.

Wonder why most are $15k, but some are 20, 25, or even 30k. You apparently also get to put the name of your choice engraved on a plaque at the school next to the matching shoe on display. If I had the money I'd buy one just to see what would happen if I chose Donald Trump as the name to put on the plaque. LOL something tells me they would not allow it.

Do shoe guys not like them signed? or can Lebron not sign them? seems like that would be a huge plus.

The ones that are 30k (that I saw) appear to be finals worn in 2017.

lol at that price for a single shoe. i'd rather go after Zion's first NBA win shoes in Goldin at that kind of money. complete pair, autographed and inscribed, photo-matched etc etc. UD has lost its mind.

I have an autographed shoe of Cristiano Ronaldo.

He's better than Lebron anyway.

Most seem to be, but this one was a game against Detroit. He did have a triple double so I guess that makes it a $30k shoe:confused:.

It's for charity bro.. Well to pay the salaries of the employees of the charity with a small % going to the kids.

If shoes like these were more in my price range (closer to 5% of their prices) I honestly wouldn't fuss much about having 1 shoe vs the pair, it's not like I'd ever be wearing them anyways. If you're just putting them on a wall display, I think 1 shoe would look cleaner than having both.

I give plenty to my own charities bro. I’m not buying a single shoe in order to give to charity. That’s whack bro.

Fully agree. If these are 100% certified I would have no issues only having one shoe. But regardless of the number of shoes, the price would need to be far more realistic to even contemplate purchasing...

I wonder if you can extract his dna from this and save it for future use....hmmm

Imagine a bunch of LeBron clones.

This is the future my friends!

it's all personal preference. but just remember that only a small portion of game worn shoes collectors have any interest in singles. so unless you are buying them to keep forever, you have to think about pricing because you aren't going to get much for singles when you go to trade or sell down the line.
