First time sending to PSA. The website says I cannot send my card in a toploader. Is this true. I do not want to have the card damaged in just a card saver. Thanks for the help

I recently sent my first order in as well and was told that toploaders are just fine - they will remove them and place them in card savers once they arrive.

Toploaders INCREASE the likelihood of damage in the mail. They normally only accept them for thicker cards. Do not tape the top of the toploader if you're going to send in them. I used to hold the card inside better by folding the lip of the penny sleeve over the card, and then inserting it into the toploader to stay in even better.

Does anyone know if the turnaround times on the website are up to date? I wanted to send in a card for 1 day want to know if I’ll get it back in that timeframe

Another question... if sending in an Etopps card does it need to come out of the case, or will they do it?

they can do it, with permission from you noted on the form. however I ALWAYS crack them out first as they aren't always in perfect shape and may require a quick wipe down. sometimes they are scuffed and damaged in those cases so its prudent to crack them and look them over first.

Send it in a card saver. Use painters tape to tape cardboard on both side of the cards. If you have more than 10 cards do multiple box taping.

Card savers are actually safer than toploaders

Yeah, card are less likely to slide around in a card saver. The grading companies want card savers because the can cut the cards out to safely remove them.

Are card saver 1’s appropriate. I noticed that that are much cheaper then ultra pro. They must be fairly comparable right?...

Card Saver 1s are just fine. Easier to get standard sized cards into.

Cardsaver. Grading process has enough flaws without aggravating the person removing your cards.
