Pride fc set

I was trying to look for some comps on ebay and not finding much. Have these become that rare or do they not sell so no one lists them?

You can still find the Pride FC cards on eBay. They are from 2006, so not as many popping up. In addition, the new collectors (Conor generation of fans) are not aware of Pride or value the items as much... so interest has dropped.

The rare cards are the motion cards, promo # 6 and a few of the sparkles.

Would pay top $ for anyone wiling to see the motion card set!

thanks. i have the base set and about half the sparkles. I remember 5-7 years ago you could find them on ebay quite a bit. Started looking a few days ago and there is nothing. Kinda caught me off guard.

I think it could be that the listings don't list them the exact way the set is actually called.

I think the key words are "pride". LOL and you have to sift from there.

Idk if you did the same and got the same results but here's what I pulled up. Looks like quite a few have sold in the last 3 months or however long the data goes back.

I used to pick these up from time to time few years ago. Looks like they've gone down in value since. Probably coinciding with the athletes decline

What is “promo #6?”

Googling, the only image I could find of the promo series was #1 which was an additional warmaster card...what is the rest of the promo series? Looks like maybe there is an Aoki too?

Promo # 10 is Aoki. There were 10 promo cards... and to get a promo card, you had to attended an event then either mail something in or got to a specific card shop or something like that (so the story goes). They were not easy to obtain.

I have never seen the full set of motions. By that I mean I have never seen 6 of the 9 cards ever. NEVER EVER. so they are super rare also.

Yup... amazing set. I have all the cards but only 1 of the 9 motion cards.
I have seen the full motion card set a few times but those cards are crazy rare.

I agree the Promos should be worth more considering what you
had to do to acquire one. Promo # 6 is very rare.

2006 Pride FC, 2008 Donruss Ring Kings and the 2009 Upper Deck Prominent Cuts MMA sets were great early releases/sub sets.

It's my holy grail of MMA cards that I have, and so far I can't find anyone else to prove they completed it. I have it complete and bought it like 8 years ago from the only person I think completed the whole pride fc set, but he had to break it up to sell. Please let me know as I'm trying to hunt down how many have completed this, and one said yes but refused to provide proof so I'm sure he was close but wasn't finished. If you have it, I will gladly show proof of mine so we can narrow it down. Also what are the rare insert cards in it that makes it's nearly impossible to finish? I'm tempted to get my whole set graded and put in a frame as all are mint plus, but wanna know for sure what to tell grading company. Thank you

Anyone else that has pride fc sunsets complete, and I mean 100% complete please speak up so we can finally lay to rest how many sunsets are truly complete. We know one person 8-10 years ago had the whole set and he bought half the cases to do it and had to break it to subsets to sell on ebay as whole set was too expensive to unload at once. I have most the sunsets completed but not the motion cards. Likely will never, and I only have sparkle complete cause I won auction from guy who completed whole set. So I'm trying to get a breakdown so we have them on file as value is soaring and rarity is to the point of probably no more subsets will get finished. The Pride FC cards are the true RCs of the most famous MMA fighters and Tops tries to squash them but facts are facts. Tops is NOT the RCS, of anyone in Pride or BBM wrestling previously. Example Baus Routans and Frank Shamrock RCs are both Japan BBM. Let's get past keyboard warriors of people that claim to finish this or that and get some facts, so the history books can start to be made! Thank you

I have all the pride sets complete but the motion card set.... that 9 card set is the rarest. The sparkle set is tough... a few hard ones to find (Gracie, Fedor etc). I am huskytabby on IG message me there for pics

The Pride sets are base, best bout, sparkle (hologram), silver autos, gold autos, motion cards and the promos. Plus checklists.

The Fedor auto is upside down... and supposedly, there were real autos /10. But that is a myth.

They are a 9 card set... with card numbers S-1 to S-9

A handful were on ebay and yahoo japan over last year or two... usually sell for $150 or more.

Ok sorry so long to recheck this, thank you so much for responses. So it looks like only 3 of us have the sparkle subset complete. All willing to show proof. I don't have Instagram but I do have fb and twitter. I've never tried here to upload pics, can we. Anyways I'm in same boat as you guys, can't finish motion and gave up probably 5 years ago when excitement faded. Don't wanna throw money at 1 if I can't get all I need at once, lol. So who the hell got the motion cards from the guy I got my sparkle set from. He said on eBay that he had to sell for wife medical emergency or something but he did have every subset including motion, but I figured I would grab sparkle since it had most cards to complete except base. Plus can't be counterfeit like the motion can't either , unless it's some huge operation, but since so few out there of either, we would know on those. The guy with the complete set was popular on MMA forums back in like 2010 ish when I started hunting down cards I needed. I think he was quite wealthy if my memory is correct and had other rare pride memorabilia. As for real Fedor autos I don't have those either if they actually existed. All mine are the silver and gold printed ones for pride except my Leaf Nation Pride ones.

It is a faux/printed auto (cards 128 and above) , not actually signed.

Every auto had a /10 real version. The owner of the Fedor also had a bunch of the Pride Fc box and promotional material translated and they mention the real autos.

If people are interested I think I have the rest in pictures as well but just need to do some digging. In 2006 I spent my spare time online using a Japanese translator and bought my Pride cards from stores or auction sites. It took me well over a year to even see a motion card even there when it started.

The entire set is truly super tough to put together with the Auto's #/10 being most impossible as I have not even seen one to this day but saw post here confirming them, Promo cards extremely difficult to obtain and I only have 4x at the moment (#1,3,4,5). Gold Inlay were twice as rare as the Silver ones. Not 100% certain but I think you would get from each box 2x Silver Inlay & 1x Gold Inlay. Sparkle/Foil cards all again extremely difficult to put all together. At moment I am 3x short (#91,106,125). Only fighter card I have none of is Vitor Belfort #47. Am missing 1x Silver Inlay for a better grade (#128-Randleman) and have only 4x Gold Inlay cards (#128,131,134,135). Anybody have any Pride they want to move I have extra BGS Pride and lots of Round 1 available.

Hey guys, Ive been a member but haven't been here is ages. A few of you guys already know me from Facebook groups. I own that Fedor /10 auto. I would love to post some pull odds statistics I was able to obtain from having the promo and packaging translated. Also, the old Pride card website had the same info and I saved that. I think blowout would be a good place to have this info saved for future collectors. I just dont know how to post pics here lol
