Please respond to the poll as to where you think the overall baseball card market prices will be one year from today. This includes everything (wax, singles, graded cards, vintage, etc.)
Also, please post the one player whose prices you are most bullish on and one player most bearish on.

Bullish: Tatis (I think he is legit)
Bearish: Alvarez (Cuban players do not have a track record of sustained hobby relevance and his injuries are extremely concerning)

I think Luis Robert will break that trend.

Prices are definitely up. My question is are we in a temporary bubble fueled by the pandemic and if we are when does it burst and how far do things fall when it does.
Bullish: Fernando Tatis Jr.
He’s quickly becoming the new hobby favorite. Buy now because barring injury he’s only going up from here.
Bearish: Pete Alonso
Had a huge rookie year in a big market. A recipe for instant hobby success. Problem is he’s not on the same level as Trout, Acuna, Tatis and if he begins to slump I feel his prices will too.

It’s practically a full-time job of the majority of people here and elsewhere in the hobby to do their best to raise prices, and they’re generally working together to do so. So of course the poll is going to say prices will skyrocket...we all know this poll is silly.
However, a percentage of those people - the “smart” people - will push everyone else under the bus when the payout is enough and stop working together. So there’s that.
But the virus is also a highly contributing factor in this.
