Looks like they obviously don't have licenses, or the dude that really wanted that evolution card would have had on and NFL jersey. Whoever made that hype-mmercial probably had a harder time finding a blank jersey, than he would have had if he just used an NFL-licensed jersey. Ultimately, I bet its some kind of redemption for an E-Card or something. LOL. :)

Panini and Topps can still produce cards even if there is a lockout. EA Sports can, and will release Madden, and I assume the same goes with other companies that hold a contract with the NFL.

I honestly don't get it. If i want to watch player highlights I can go to nfl.com, why put this in a trading card? It's one thing to put an auto on it like panini is going to do, but just a cheap video player, FAIL!

Stupid concept .. I wish these companies would just stick with cards. I didn't want the old powerdecks and I dont want these. Stick with giving me authentic game used (not the event worn junk) and autographs and all is well.

I would take Panini's version of UD's it looks like Panini will at least set the screen on/in the card so it is widescreen and uses most of where the photo would have been. The UD cards shown look like they have tiny screens... Can't wait for the first time one of the disgruntled employees throws some porn on the cards.

CD-Rom cards. The card itself was a mini disc that could be inserted into computers to view player information and stats. Some limited cards were also autographed. They never caught on, and Powerdeck was a one and done set.

What would be nice is if they got the athlete to record a personalized message for you. You can get one for your kid having Payton Manning singing Happy Birthday or something.
