2010 National Treasures DEZ BRYANT RPM - Sell or Hold ??

Pulled this bad boy out of a pack. The one's on ebay #'d/99 seem to be going for $300-$400 and some higher based on the patch. Do you sell this now or hold until next season ? This is the #d/25 version....I'm probably going to hold as its one of the cooler cards I've pulled but man it could bring in some $$$

Sell now and don't look back. Take the money, put it in a long term CD, make a little money off it and buy the same card back in a year for less than half what you got for it. :D

Roth's better for the long term, but CD rates are better for a one-year turnaround. :)!

The sense is SELL SELL SELL...thanks everyone...so, how much do you start it at on ebay? is it worth $750 - $1k or am I dreaming ? I was thinking if he goes off next year, could this turn into a Blake Griffin type card...Cowboys player ect...That may be too much to hope for but?

Put it up for a 7 day auction ending next Sunday. Make it NR .99 start and let it fly. Should end $500ish I'd guess.

I've seen #/99 with similar patches like that sell for close to $500, I would hope you could get $700 for it.

you may not see that until game time. Then if he does poorly or gets hurt you definitely wont see that

It will probabley never go higher than what it will now unless this guy breaks some records...take randy moss for example.. But Dez was hurt and nobody knows what the future holds for him now...you are basically garuenteed money now ..this card will either stay were it is or go down ..way down if he doesn't produce next year

Great card man, would hold onto it - Dez has boatloads of potential and is as good of a bet as any 2010 prospect. That being said, the problem with 9 out of 10 NT Dez RPA's is auto run-off (some even run onto the actual jersey/patch swatch) which brings down the card value and puts a premium on the few that have complete autographs with no run-off. SUch a huge space to sign your name on these cards, I don't know why Dez was so carefree/sloppy when signing them.

Agree with the others--sell now while NT is still somewhat hot. Remember almost all rookie stuff cools off after the next class is drafted as well.

This one is the same with his auto. He has a huge gap between the BRY and the ANT part of his card. His pen did mark a spot on the grey part of the jersey but nothing of the patch. I just think if he has a couple big games next year this one could go up over a $1k especially numbered only to 25...

Agreed - if Dez tears it up next year, this IS the card to have of him; like with all rookie cards (esp NT) it is a big gamble, but a gamble that could pay off big if he amounts to even half of what he is supposed to.

Dez's cards are already going higher than every other rookie except Tebow and Bradford. I don't see that changing a lot regardless of what he does next season.

Not a shot man. Even if he puts up 1500 yds and 20 TDs. WRs you have to sell while they are hot............they just don't retain value. Cowboys fans will pay but no way it goes for $1k.

Agreed. Pretty much no matter what numbers he puts up its not getting much better then this. The patch will also get you a little extra. You'd be better off getting some nice Bradford autos with the money then to hold a WR card.

He is a WR sell now. Look at Marvin Harrison, probably one of the greatest WRs of all time and his cards aren't worth bent dick still lol

I can think back even one year ago, to Michael Crabtree. Everyone was going somewhat crazy for his cards. NT RPA were selling for 300-400. Now, you can pick one up for 50 shipped (check ebay, I found one). Take the money while you can.

It's sort of like that TV show, Deal or no Deal. Your passing up a good amount of money for a miniscule chance at making a little bit more. I'll tell you what I tell every contestant: take the money and run.
