I went to Dollar Tree in my town to get some candy and they happened to have a ton of 2020 Topps Series 2 packs for sale. There must have been a couple hundreds packs on the shelf. Has anyone opened these before? I'm just curious if they have an parallels like the Donruss cards they sold last year.
They also had basketball but that lane was full of people so I didn't take a look.

Not this time but I'll swing by if there are parallels. I wasn't very happy with series 2 this year.

We'll be seeing loads of these in repackaged products in the coming year or two.

Still a Lubob base RC but no inserts or parallels/variations
How much? $1ea if you bought 25 you would get at least 1

Are these packs $1 each? If so, that comes out to $0.20/card with the 5 card packs. Not sure it's worth the chase considering no parallels.

They're $1 each, and I believe you get 5 cards per pack (at least have in years past). So if you have perfect collation, you'd need 70 packs to get 1 Robert. I guess you could get lucky and hit 2-3 out of 40-50 packs. But who knows.

Doesn't it strike it odd that the major retail chains are empty but the dollar store has hundreds of packs? If memory serves me right OP there are not inserts in the pack (just base) and that's why they are at the dollar store.

I remember cleaning out a Dunham’s of 2015 Updste when I ran across their $1 packs with no inserts, I made out fine by pulling a Lindor RC, among other lesser rookies.

You'd be better off spending $50 on a retail set that will come with all the rookies, and the rookie variations.

Yeah I thought it was weird as I’ve never seen them there before. I only go there a few times a year but it got me wondering if Topps overproduced the series.
My Walmart also had Series 2, Archives, Stadium Club and Donruss Optic this weekend. It’s the first time I’ve seen retail stock in quantity for quite some time.
