Okay folks, this is the thread for The Touchdown Box Break Club.
This is a year long commitment where we will be paying a monthly fee each month. The agreed upon price, by majority vote, is $50 a month. How it will work is each month, we will vote on a product to bust within our price range for that particular month. Then, once the product has been ordered, I will send a list of each participant to a mod to do a randomization of the teams for that month.
I am going to be participating in this as well, and like I said, a mod will post the random done each month, in no way will there be a possibility for me to have an advantage in the breaks by purposely setting up a random for me to get a particular team.

The approximate monthly breakdown of costs will be as follow:
32 participants @ $50 per slot = $1600
approximately $46.40 Paypal fees,
approximately $93.00 shipping ($3.00 * 31)
approximately $1460.60 available per month

Please note the first month, I will be using some funds to purchase a lot of supplies specifically for this year long break, which will eat up a decent amount of supplies.

I will ship your base/regular inserts out if requested, but I will "stockpile" them to fill up a cardboard box to reduce the shipping costs down the line. If requested, I can send them out sooner though.

Also, the rule with multiple teams on a card will be as follows:
A list will be randomed by a mod, with the first team on the random winning the card.

In the event we pull a card that has no association to a team, it will be randomed at the end of the break. I doubt we will run into this issue very often though.

To determine the team that gets the card, it will be based on the team listed on the card. For instance, if we pull a Brandon Marshall auto and he is in a Broncos uniform, but it states he is a Miami Dolphin, it will go to the Dolphins.

With that said, the following people need to confirm they will be participating in this year long commitment, and anybody else interested will be added as a backup.

Mainly want to make sure we carry enough over for next month to bust a case of NT or 5*. If we buy the high end stuff, your looking at 20-30 cards to sleeve. TTT would be about 110. 200 for a Certified break.

I'd start with a case of the base top loaders. I don't know if I'd buy cases of the larger ones at this point since they get expensive and you'll need a variety of sizes to start off with. Something like 5-10 packs of 108, 130, etc whatever is the most common.

You have an address book program that will let you print labels or something otherwise mailday could be hellish.

Another thing I was also thinking about maybe is that if people do want base, I'll stockpile it up til I fil say a 300 count cardboard box or whatever size and then ship it out. I believe someone suggested that they wouldn't mind me holding their cards until it sort of stockpiles up and get one loot every 3 months or so.

I know its more work, but there has got to be a way to poll all participants on wanting bases or not. Getting a percentage, say 70/30 who want them, then at end of year randoming all bases that weren't requested for say a fee, or something...I don't know, just throwing stuff out there. I will ship out base to everybody who wants it, but like I said I'll probably "stockpile" the base out til it fills a cardboard box.
I plan on ordering 100 count and 300 count cardboard boxes. The reason I say stockpile is because it will make it very easy on me and less costs for shipping. Some stuff will have lots of base, like SP Authentic, some not so much, like 5 Star/NT.
I think I got a good estimate on the price of supplies, I'm going to sort of see how this order goes and then adjust if needed in the future.
My only concern is if we get a very valuable hit and I'm shipping it out, what would you guys prefer to send it out in? I wasn't sure if magnetic holders are good for shipping, or if just use a toploader, etc. Just let me know.

toploader + painter's tape + decoy + team bag is what I use for all my shipments. The mags are okay, but they will add to your shipping costs.

Wow, I just checked and Certified has jumped up to $800 now for an 8 box case. The price has jumped up by nearly $200 in a matter of 2 days, yikes. Getting too pricey IMO for what it will deliver, so I think maybe we should take that off as possible suggestions.

Me personally I think 2007 Limited would be a good case to bust for $900 its at right now.
That or 2009 SP Authentic, which is at about $1,000 I think.

First, I want to say I logged in this morning to check messages and check the thread. Noticed no updates on payment, sent out PM's and updated the thread.

I am going to send out PM's to the reserves telling them if they want a spot, send payment today. My Paypal is listed so they shouldn't need to ask.

Just wanted tp put this out there too, I personaly don't have a problem with maybe keeping 3 or 4 slots open each month (since we lost 4 commitments), I think that gives people who are hyped about the product we are busting in any given month to grab some extra slots. Like this month I like both products so I'm not sad about there being extra slots.
