These are actually great cards. Not much in the way of resale value though. I like the way they feel in the hand. I wonder if they are still really overpriced.

I typically try to do a PYT Braves break if I can find one. My wife has grown pretty fond of the Inception release as well, and she plans to do a few breaks.

Man, I love Inception but those PYT prices are jarring -- this is for, what is it, 112 CARDS per case? Makes it much easier to just start saving for Bowman.

Yeah even the group break prices are getting to the point where you cant justify buying in. Even if you hit something decent you are still paying above the value of your nice hit.

This is a “buy singles” set for sure. Fun one to put a rainbow together on though.

Opened probably 10 or so boxes of this product last year and loved it. Hoping Topps keeps the price point at $70 or so, AND I’m actually able to get some. I remember these being available for quite a few days on Topps last year

Yes, I did watch that. One box had a Vlad Jr. auto, right? And then another box had 2 non-star autos, which was probably an error by Topps, but 'lucky' for the buyer.

Yeah i've been lucky enough to get series 1 whenever I want since they always have them in stock.

Price is steep for topps inception. Basically a $140 lottery ticket with only 7 cards

Now a spot in a random team half case break is $55; my how times have changed. No clue who would rip or buy into breaks at these price points but I’m glad they do as I love buying Inception singles.

They just called me actually as I was typing this and opened Inception up to phone orders. It came to $174 and change after tax and shipping. So may as well just buy through BO for ease and simplicity.

I bought 2 boxes a few months ago when it the price dipped to around $100.

I opened 1 box and hit a Joey Bart auto patch, which as a Giants fan, is fantastic.

It's too bad about the recent spike in prices, because after I bought 2 boxes last year at $65 each, I was thinking of buying a half case at that price to rip. Instead I'll be flipping one of the 2 boxes I could get.

Wow, yeah, if not cheaper at the MLB Shop than it was on the website - I was never overly thrilled with $60-70 a box on this before though I did get a few solid hits. But I completely agree they're looking to a) cash in on all the new hobby blood and b) gobble up that sweet stimulus $$$$$!

I love Inception and had planned to get a box this year after doing singles last year. Like the rest of you, easy pass at the price point. I'm still disappointed, but I could add some decent singles for $140, so I'll live. Best of luck to those who went for it.

Bought a box from the MLB store, ripped a Mountcastle /25 Gold on card auto and a William Contreras on card auto /50. I get the price point gripes - but 2 rookie autos on card seemed pretty cool to me. Cards are sleek

This was one of the first hobby boxes I had bought back in 2018 for $60 and got a Buehler auto to 75 and barely broken even with that big hit at that time. Can't imagine $140. Its as bad as that Chrome Black last year.

I think TC Black had a lot more room for bigger hits than this. Singles still selling very well for it

Not sure if any of you here follow any of the MLB the Show content creators on Twitch, but DaddyDimmu broke his first ever case last night on stream.

The VERY FIRST pack, he pulls a 1/1 Luis Robert Sock Relic, then pulls a 1/1 Andrés Giménez printing plate in a later pack, along with a #'d to 75 Ke'Bryan Hayes patch auto. Easily the best case I've seen so far. Beginner's luck must really be a thing!
