Bowman Draft...anyone breaking or thoughts on product?

My thoughts: It is probably a loser at current prices.

However, that didn't stop me from using the 30% cash back several times to grab cases. I think that the Bowman name will carry it, a little bit. In my (brief) research -- BDPP is still considered the best vehicle for Rookies and Draft picks. Just have a really shallow pool of talent this year.

I have a feeling that Bowman/Topps will really step up their game next year on the draft picks -- this year...maybe too late.

Long story short -- I am hoping to do a little better than break even on my cases, as they were total impulse buys.

I fully expect to lose money, but I got a case. This product was one of the more enjoyable cases I opened last year. Getting an Oden Gold Refractor Auto helped, but even without that, there were enough hits, parallels, rookies, etc. to make it feel like you were getting "something" in almost every pack. The hot box adds a little more "excitement". Looks like they added some decent content to the GU stuff on the rookie end. Plus, as a HUGE Georgetown fan, I actually have a number of guys to look for in Iverson, Green, Hibbert and even Ewing Jr. If I can get some decent Hoya cards and make a few hundred back in the process, I'll be happy. I wish they had kept the bronze/silver/gold parallels for the Bowman cards instead of going to blue/orange/gold. A small thing, but the one negative I see before I get the cards. Good luck to anyone else opening! I'll try to report my break on the boards, so if anyone wants to make any offers on the "non-Hoya" stuff.....let me know!

I've got my case break on the boards--none of the REAL big autos, but some nice cards overall.
