Through the exclusive deal with the NFLPA, Panini has to produce at least 35 NFL products per year, and they did 37 last year. To this point, 24 products have already been released, with 2 new inclusions from last year (Mosaic and Zenith). So what's left?

We'll start with the obvious ones that we know are coming but have not been formally announced:
Contenders
Flawless
National Treasures
Optic
Select

Puts us at 29.

What still hasn't been announced per last year's releases (and we know some are more likely than others to return):
Chronicles
Contenders Optic
Encased
Limited
Majestic
One
Passing the Torch (likely replaced by Zenith as online exclusive)
Plates & Patches
Playbook
Unparalleled (likely replaced by Mosaic based on timing)

Curious to see what changes are made to the lineup for the rest of the 2020 releases. Not a whole lot of inspiring products left outside of the obvious ones, so really hope they switch it up a bit, but not counting on it.

Still to come:

Impeccable
Immaculate
Prizm
Obsidian
Playoff
Rookies & Stars

I’d like to see Panini One return.

35 products a year? Damn.

I wish the NFLPA didnt require so many products. I would rather have all the staple products, more emphasis on quality control, redemption improvement, and better customer service then all these extra products. Although having 35 products is no excuse for QC, redemptions, and Customer service.

All about the money. When they went the exclusive route, they wanted to make up for the lost revenue from Topps products.

I see that conserving one's vital essence increases literary bombasticity.

I think Majestic is an earlier release so I think they skipped it this year.
Would like to see Crown Royale as a full release make a come back.

I hated the concept of Chronicles last year but think they could do real well to make that primarily an update set this year. Replace some of these Photoshopped and combine pictures they're currently using to game action.

you forgot 2020 Panini GBage. Comes with 1 FPA /299 and potential to get a SP green and brown Kaboom. 1 pack per box, 3 cards per pack. MSRP: $599.

With all of these releases each year, I'd like to see more variety of the players that get cards from year to year. Panini could make a card of 85% of the team if each release had one player that appeared in only one set each year (and we probably don't need cards of the other 15%). I'm tired of seeing the same 3-5 players in every single set throughout the year for the smaller checklists. There are a couple new guys every year in the larger checklist releases like Donruss, but there should be one guy in each release that is not in other releases in my opinion.

Each year they also add some retired players, but it seems to be the same handful of guys in every set. Why John Elway ends up having 300 new cards every year is mind blowing to me. Switch that up too! I know most people would rather have a John Elway card than a Vance Johnson card, but as a team collector, I'd like to see some more variety.

Preach!

It’s why I buy so little and got interested in vintage.

Topps Total, Upper Deck XL... mix up the theme beyond the silly names. A true draft product in pro uniforms. I’d buy all of that.

30+ products from a company. Product is so watered down but yet people still go spend hundreds and thousands of dollars buying boxes for these cards. Almost like the 80s and 90s were so mass produced most of these cards will never be worth more then 25 cents in a box years down the road.

I honestly am boggled by the fact that 💩 nini is a profitable business.

I'm hoping to get a case of Flim Flam at MSRP. If not, I guess I'll hunting for Flim Flam retail.

What was nice about having a bunch of different manufacturers was you had a bunch of different graphic design teams and different design philosophies. At this point all Panini can do is a couple original sets, then just keep trotting out the same/similar designs from other better loved companies they acquired through the years.

The backs to all these cards are sinful as all get out. Same player image as the front and never full stats, which is an easy way to fill up the card back and not have to pay someone to regurgitate whatever SportsCenter is spewing.

Having said that, it was really nice to see Phoenix inserts with ACTUAL card numbers instead of alphabet soup. Makes it easy to figure out missing cards.

I do agree that different design teams from different companies is good for the cards in all sports. This may not be popular, but I do think that Panini does a good job of changing the design, but keeping the look of individual brands. Prizm is a good example, they all kind of look the same, but slightly different. I think that takes some skill to do to be honest. I would argue that is the one area that Panini does a pretty good job.

I would buy some of this just for the name alone, don't care how bad the cards might actually be!

Loved the whole list by the way!
