I just recently acquired this card thanks to help from someone in the hobby community. I post on the B/S/T section on here and on Facebook tirelessly looking for new Carlos Boozer cards to add to my personal collection.

Someone posted this card on Reddit asking for potential value. Someone messaged me on Facebook showing me this card and linking the original post. He found me just because he knew I was a Boozer supercollector. The original owner of this card pulled it from a pack from a box he opened 8-9 years ago and kept it in a top loader ever since. He doesn’t collect anymore and needed help with an appraisal. He asked Reddit and went to his LCS for some help as well. It was the longest 2 days of my life waiting to get a deal done for this card.

We were able to come to a deal and I am so extremely excited to be the new owner of this card. It is the first Boozer Superfractor that I have seen and first one that I have owned of course. I love the 1952 style that Topps did this year as well. I have seen the Kobe version on Instagram and they are just gorgeous cards. Another amazing thing about collecting basketball cards is the story that comes with the card such as this one. If the original owner is reading this I just want to say thank you so much and you have no idea what it means to me to own this card!

The hobby community is really one of the best things I have experienced in my life and I am happy to be apart of it. For all of the bad there are tons of good. Some of the best people I have met in life was through the hobby and most of the people I talk to on a daily basis I met through the hobby.

well growing up a die hard jazz fan here in the chicagoland area (screw you jordan) i can say this era Jazz team was so fun to watch, i especially loved the 2006-07 team, and if you remember how good mehmet okur was that year with clutch baskets, you know why. in fact he and Boozer were all stars this year. Got this from my buddy grant slayton at the last chicago national, he actually pulled this about a year before. Traded him a Trae young dominion jersey #ed auto/patch 11/15, for the Okur and cash. i think given what trae goes for now, he murdered me, but i think i only paid $150 so everyone won here haha.

Really happy you were able to land that for your PC! Here's my lone Superfractor. No special story with this one - it was just an eBay purchase a few years ago. I liked that it was from 2004, the first year of Topps Chrome Superfractors.

WOW!!! I loved Memo. A man before his time for sure. Stretch big when most of the league wasn’t adapting that. If that ever becomes available please let me know! I love the action shots that Topps Chrome did that year.

Thanks Kyle! I love that year of Topps Chrome and especially the Superfractors. Kenny Thomas had a solid 11 year career and actually averaged 13.6 PPG and 10.1 RPG the season before this card came out.

Beautiful! I loved watching Michael Finley play. Such an underrated player. My dad’s first 1/1 he ever pulled was a Michael Finley back in the early 2000’s.

great boozer again! that much i did know, i just meant from the base refractor set. I missed out on a BIN steal by mere seconds of the iverson 1/1 logoman for $100 a couple years back, the guy paul that used to be on here won it, i knew it was him. I messaged him immediately and congratulated him...i messaged him and not the seller that undersold it, because you know, scruples. Some have em some dont.

Just absolutely gorgeous!!! I loved Joe when he played for us. Will never forget the game winner against the Clippers in the playoffs. Such an underrated player. Love the card!

I loved watching Michael Redd except when he was playing against us. I won’t forget the 54 he dropped on us. Such a great player and shooter. Sick collection!

I sold an Andrea Bargnani superfractor during his rookie season (he was actually valuable at one time lol) and it was stolen. Just have this label left where Beckett rocked it on centering. If anyone ever spots it let me know.

Ersan only has two Superfractors, and I was able to acquire both of them 10+ years ago.

The Bowman Chrome is one of my favorite Ersan cards. I don't really like the look of the veteran Superfractors from this year, but the rookie Superfractors really stand out on the white/Bowman logo background
