Who makes the playoffs that missed last year?

Who misses after making the cut in 19-20?

My makes are GS and Atlanta, possibly Phoenix as well.

My miss picks are Portland and Indiana.

Misses: Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder, Magic
Makes: Timberwolves, Pelicans (if Zion is healthy), Suns, Hornets

Just felt like some teams added more depth and went deeper while others lost pivotal players and found sub-par replacements.

The Nuggets, the team that went to the WCF and resigned its key players is going to miss the playoffs? ok

Misses: Magic, Thunder
Makes: Hornets, really unsure in the West who replaces the Thunder but Suns seem obvious.

EC: +Hawks, -Magic
WC: +Grizzlies, +Suns, -Rockets, -Thunder, +Pelicans/-Blazers is borderline for me

I think those will be the only differences

I do think they have a good shot if Murray continues with the same production he had in the playoffs (18.5ppg regular season to 26.5ppg post-season) and MPJ takes a leap in production with the lost of Grant to the Pistons. They were also playing in the bubble without a key player in Barton, but aside from those four, I feel like there'll be a lack of production from the role players (Harris, Morris, Millsap, rookies, etc.). I could be wrong after-all, but this is just my opinion.

So pretty much unanimous that the Magic miss lol. I would have to agree as well.

Can't believe I forgot about the Pels! Like others have said already; -Thunder, + NO

Might even be a more fun season to watch than last year's. December 22nd happens to be the birthdate of one of my children, so I've got a good feeling this will be a memorable campaign.

Now if I can just find some retail in the wild I will be one content NBA fan!

The Pels hopefully make it.

Then Playoffs Lakers play the Pels, then DAL, LAC and them MIL/BKN

I must not having been paying attention to FA enough, why does everyone think the hawks are going to win 15/20 more games this year?

Obviously there's still some moves likely to be made before the season starts but as of now, in no particular order, these would be my picks:

East
Milwaukee
Boston
Philly
Brooklyn
Miami
Toronto
Atlanta
Indiana

Magic have a shot to get in over the Pacers if Oladipo is not playing well and Cole Anyhony is playing relatively good for Orlando. But as of right now I'd put my $$ on the Pacers

West
Lakers
Clippers
Nuggets
Jazz
Blazers
Suns
Rockets
Warriors

Call me crazy but I don't see the Mavs as being a better team than any I listed above, despite having a top 5 player in Luka. Porzingis will miss time, they traded Curry who I thought was nice for them. If anything they make it over the Warriors.. They are not the same team without Klay. Kelly Oubre doesn't fit their offense and honestly don't think Wiggins does either. And not to mention, will Steph still be the same Steph? Major question marks.

Not understanding all of the ppl counting out Houston. Unless Harden gets traded, they're getting in. And they added Christian Wood.. Perfect player for that system should Silas run a similar offense as D'Antoni's.

Portland is going to be healthy and deep, signing Carmelo back after their other roster moves sealed the deal for them imo.

New Orleans too young still I think. They'll be fun to watch though.
