BC looked good tonight against Nova until the last 5 minutes or so.. They have some dudes that can really score the ball.. I think they'll have a really good season.
Go Heels tho..

Worried about outside shooting for the Heels again this year. It’s what killed us last year. Bacot and Sharpe are going to just pound folks down low this year. Sharpe is just a beast and I saw some good improvement out of Bacot. Brooks will be good but he’s overhyped versus reality. Still a very good player but nowhere near ACC player of the year caliber. Davis and Love look good but one of them needs to emerge as a consistent outside threat. Puff Johnson has that nice jumper like his brother. I hope he gets more PT once he has been out of COVID protocol longer.

Oh man I’m gonna love this thread....
Couldn’t be more excited about Virginia this season. I think we have another 30 win caliber team this year.

Here's a stab at the top half of the league this year. My best guess on standings:
1. Virginia
2. Duke
3. Florida State
4. UNC
5. Louisville
6. Miami
7. Syracuse
8. GT

That we do.
Especially with Murphy getting the waiver.

don't get me started on dukies. we match up real well this year. if our practice three point shooters can do it in real games, its national championship. if not sweet sixteen. uva 3rd or 4th at best.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. UVA will be fine. Just goes to show the unpredictability of college basketball. That's what makes it so fun. I just hope we make it through the year and get March Madness this year.

We will get Madness definitely, college football has shown that it can happen. Smaller teams will happen.
Not happy with loss, but not going to ruin the weekend.

Who are you referring too in regards to the practice 3 point shooters? I think RJ is our best chance for a consistent outside 3 pt presence. Not sure that Puff’s body type is ready for major minutes but loved how he came off the bench and immediately knocked down a 3 in limited action. Looks to have a mirror image stroke to his big bro. We will bludgeon teams inside but need some sort of outside game to meet our potential. I know that Leaky and Platek are definitely not the answer.

Yeeup. Man that was tough to watch. Really excited to have Hauser and he obviously brings a ton to the table that we need, but he needs to learn how to close out a 3 like a Virginia Cavalier.
At least we know that Tony knows exactly what to do with a performance like that. That's what I keep telling myself anyway. Obviously gonna take this group some time to gel and figure it out but the pieces are definitely there.
Loved Tony's quotes after that game. As usual, he hit the nail on the head.
