Mosaic to me is a very cheap, basic design. It does not even hold a candle to Prizm quality and price wise.

I don't agree with any of that lol. All the prizm that I have seen being busted is way too off center overall to make it a buy to rip, or a group break buyin. Singles only fellas on Prizm, trust me.

But I actually just dislike the Herbert prizm photo. Another thing I have taken into consideration with the wild prices these days. How does the photo hold up? I actually really like the prizm design this year and was considering at least buying one wax until I started watching breaks. Hopefully hobby does not look like that.

I also am not a fan of all the ten million parallels, in either product.

I can understand someone thinking Mosaic is a basic design, but you really think Prizm is not? They are most basic designs every year. At least mosaic pops more with colors.

This year's Prizm reminds me of Select so now I'm curious about Select.

The first Herbert Silver sold for $1,375 which should settle over the next few weeks when supply kicks in to mid to upper $700's. I've tried this for lower players in NFL/NBA and the math typically lines up for the next tier of players as well.

Mosaic if you love the card, the look, the design. Prizm is you want to eventually sell it on for a profit (maybe).

Yes it was. Still waiting on it to be anywhere near the quality of TC. Most people I know prefer the look of Optic over Prizm. Prisms popularity stems from two primary things, the “replacement” to TC and it grades better than Optic. It’s never been as good as TC and this year the second point may be changing. Prizm isn’t going anywhere, but brushing off the fact that Mosaic or Optic can’t overtake it is short sighted. Not saying it will, but Prizm has only been really popular for a very short time which was highlighted earlier in the thread.

Maybe, but Prizms been king for what, three, maybe four years? Prizm is an inferior knockoff of TC. Let Panini put out another year or two of Prizm with centering like we’re seeing and Mosaic have another strong year or two and that gap could erode pretty quickly.

I'd put select actually above prizm, (I love select) but it's hobby only, which limits it's exposure.
