Expired redemption by less than 3 months...still screwed?

I have called ahead and politely asked and have had expired redemptions filled (within a few months of expiry).

Yes, they seem to be pretty good at sending you a nice Henry Owens. They will give you they same spiel as others that if they have it they will send it. Of course 98 percent of the time they don’t have it. Since yours if newly expired you might get something like the aforementioned Henry Owens Auto. I don’t know who the new flavor is. I don’t know why they can’t tell you if they have it when you call. Someone on here did get an expired Bryant auto recently so it’s not a total impossibility. Good luck.

this happened to me. In March 2019 I pulled a Koufax 1/1 auto redemption out of tek that expired on 10/31/18. I emailed topps and although it took a while, they had me send it in. I received the card a few months later.

I miss when UD used to put expired redemptions in a bucket spinner and raffle them off at shows for prizes.

I early 2018 I pulled a topps scouting report auto from a target box. It was 3 months past the expiration date. If it would had been a common auto I would have just tossed it. But it was a Sandy Koufax so I emailed and was upset. The customer service person wrote me back and said send it in and if they still had the card they would send it or if they didn’t have the card they would send a replacement. 3 weeks of waiting and I got the redemption card in the mail with the Koufax card. I was super stoked because I pulled it while my dad was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack, 3 months later he died so I have this card as a reminder of when he was still with us.
