2020 Stad. Club Chrome Griffey Jr. 1/1 Auto

I opened a blaster last night and pulled my best card ever. My 1st 1/1 (non printing plate) and being a Griffey on card auto make it extra special. Not sure what I'm going to do with it at this point but I am trying to figure out what it's worth and struggling to find good comps. The closest thing I can find from Stad. Club Chrome is a Vladdy Jr. 1/1 Auto that sold for $500. Pretty much all of the sold Griffey 1/1 autos I can find are patches which aren't an ideal comp. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well that's definitely worth more than $500. At the same time, unless you needed the cash why would you sell it? You paid $20 for it. A 1/1 on card auto of a great HOFer. And your best pull to date. That would be something I hold onto as part of the PC.

You are right and that's something I need to consider. It's something I'll never forget and there's definite value there. Then again, I PC Acuna and 80's rookies and not really Griffey (although he's an all-timer so always appreciate his cards) so I'm trying to gauge what I might get in exchange value wise if I go down that route.

While it's chrome, it is a beam team auto, which is a brand within a brand for the past 30 years. 1k minimum.

The regular release of Stadium Club (non-chrome) this year also did not have Beam Team inserts for some reason, so the Chrome version is that much sought after IMO.

The old school image is another aspect that makes it appealing. I've seen Topps gets comfortable at times using 2010 Seattle images. We don't need 40 yr old heavy set Ken lol

As for value, gotta agree with 2k. I know cash is king for other uses, but man if you could keep that in your PC for being a pull, definitely do it. #EPIC for a blaster hit.

Best personal pull ever, established HOFer, pack pulled, 1 of 1, beautiful design. Unless you're in a financial bind, if you sell this there's a 99% chance you'll regret it down the road. Sweet pull.

Can’t recall a time I have ever seen anything but a plate or paper 1/1 being pulled from a blaster.

Second, I’m not really up to speed on Griffey pricing but I’d have to imagine a buy it now of $1,000 would be bought fairly quick, no?

Griffey, on card, 1/1, and a very popular insert set. I’d price high ($2,000+) and field offers. Also allows you to vet the buyer before accepting.
