Opened up this Lebron about a month ago. Card had some chipping out of the package (is this normal?).

Is the surface dirty/scratched or is it the one touch? The front of the card looks pretty rough in the pictures. If the surface is pristine, I'd still say you're looking at a 7-8 max because of the edges/corners.

Let us know how it grades if you do grade it. If you sell it, definitely let us know because that's a card that will most likely end up trimmed.

Either way, that's a sweet card. Congrats and welcome to BO.

PSA is in California. The card will likely be an 8 with PSA with all that white on the corner, BGS might give it a 9 overall with an 8.5 for corners.

Thanks for the reply, the surface is pristine condition, what you see is the dust from the case. Will definitely let you know!

I know, I said Dallas because I am going to drop it off to Heritage and they are going to send it for grading on my behalf.

Thanks! Hoping it gets a 9.

Congratulations on a great pull!!

Chipping in the lower left on that card is extremely common, and by themselves might not rule out a BGS 9. But those chips at the top are not typical. If it were mine, with two visible flaws, I'd be pleasantly surprised with a 9, hoping for an 8.5, and emotionally prepared for an 8.0.

Nonetheless, what you have there is a great card!!
