Late this year but i bet it will still have some unsuspecting stars that prop it up. People said 2018/19 was gonna be crap too and we know how that turned out. Someone will rise out of the pack.

The only thing that sucks about such a late release is that it'll be impossible to prospect and get steals. The best rookies will be established by March and the prices will be adjusted accordingly.

Yeah that's probably why they did it.

They new the class would start off slow and then some studs would emerge.

Yeah that's probably why they did it.

They may also not want to run into a Kendrick Nunn/Lu Dort/Terence Davis scenario where an undrafted player comes out of nowhere and becomes contributors and they miss the original checklist.

The late season start didn't give them a lot of time either.

They did it because the print run will be massive. Whoever they contract to print the cards said earliest we can have that quantity ready is March, and panini said ok.

So good news we will all find Prizm in the wild . 200,000 cases 1991 Donruss style

Where did you hear this from? I hope you're right. I'm tired of overpaying. I remember buying boxes and boxes of prizm hobby for $100

They'll be more than that. Try $300-400. That's my guess. Hope im wrong but the game has changed.

Lol you think $300-$400 for 2020-21 Prizm basketball hobby is high?!? BO is pre selling 20-21 Hoops, yes HOOPS, for $350. 2020-21 Prizm will be $1,000 preorder. That's if no rookies take off by then.

No, but my guess is that it will be a clone of the look of 2020 Prizm football.

Probably for me as well. Up until last year I would by 2 boxes per year but was priced out last year. I can not see spending $1000+ per box for Prizm.

Why would they care? It’s going to sell out either way.

No, they did it because the draft was 5 months late.

I’d hate to poop on people’s expectations. But I think Prizm Hobby is going to be closer to $1,500 when Pre-orders go up. NFL was about $1,000 and NBA demand is way higher.

The most expensive Prizm release will be for one of the weakest draft classes, I dont see myself buying much hobby or entering breaks this year.

Most expensive at release? Both 18-19 and 19-20 are priced much higher than 20-21 will be. That being said a lot has changed hobby wide since 19-20 was released.

Unless you're going to sleep in a tent outside a Target, this will most likely be zero.

Or take PTO when the product is live in retail? Thats what I plan to do to get my hands on some at MSRP.

I'm not crazy about anyone yet but it's still really early. I mean they've only played 4 games. Prizm will be expensive but don't believe what everyone says about a weak draft class until if happens for sure.

I'm not saying it will or wont be but i heard the same thing in 18-19. How'd that work out? 2017-18 people were pumped up to the moon and 18-19 they thought was going to be a dud draft class. Weird how that worked.

The truth is you never know for sure until it happens.
