tavares is a wonderful guy. Pure class and I wish he would've stayed w/the islanders, but I respected his decision and wish him every statistical hof credential he can earn. That said, I hope the leafs choke again. I would love to see mcdavid, price, and laine especially break through in the playoffs.

I need to update/start anew My FlickR account as this one no longer works for me for some reason? I've contacted FlickR, been sent new passwords, tried new emails, etc, but yet nothing works. (I assume it has been hacked?)
Since my last FlickR update over a year ago, I've purchased many cards to complete my low number run but can't add them so it is time to get at it. I think I will do one for my hockey cards while I'm at it as well?

I’m down to approx. 100 Tavares cards left to post on my site and am thinking about doing all the home games and only a few away games to last until next season.

I found some incredibly rare cards from a Tavares collection in Ohio… they’re now in Florida. I’m going down to get them next month and can’t wait… those Ohio cards complete the 2006-07 ITG 10 card Record Breaking Season set, including 6 of the 10 are gold 1/1s.

The 2006-07 ITG Record Breaking Season set, consists of 10 different Tavares cards with Auto and Memorabilia parallels. Although I have seen several of the autographed gold version 1/1s... I have never seen any gold 1/1s of the 10 memorabilia cards.

I tend to be building this collection where it can actually be split into 2 collections (lots of cards have doubles, including many of the low #d cards).

I absolutely love mini cards and this slabbed 2009-10 Champs Rookie is one of my favorite Tavares cards.

Recently, I stumbled onto a lot of 49 of them and couldn't resist, (I know, things have gotten a little out of hand).

Anyhow, I won them on auction for $3 each and also invested .75 each on sleeves and mini top loaders... they may not be Young Guns, however, I love these mini Tavares rookies.

Love it, man! I really enjoy seeing this collection flourish in "unconventional" ways like these. The hoard of Mini's are so cool!

I don't know who you bought this off of, but If this is the seller I think you bought it off of on eBay, then it's possible these are uncirculated (not packed out) copies of Tavares' Champs Rookie card.

The bulk seller on eBay has sold some uncirculated cards in bulk lots in the past, as he sources his buys from various places and potentially had a connection with UD or someone close to them at some point. I can't know for sure, but it's possible these were from the UD warehouse at some point in the past, which makes these extra cool, in my opinion.

Great show!! Always neat to see a graded mini, too.

Awesome Enroth Rookie, crease... I'm not sure if it's the same guy you know of (Massachusetts)... I also picked up several 100 early Tavares ITG cards from him (in lots of 50).

He sells all sports and I heard they are picked up in bulk from a company that slabs for profit by the 1000s... some examples of what he sells:

Yeah, that's the same seller I was referencing earlier.

He has many lots of random cards that have been weirdly hoarded (maybe from potential slabbing lots that was never acted on), but he's also sold some uncirculated cards in the past that had never hit the secondary market before and was/is back-doored at some point. So who knows where his items were all sourced from (When I spoke to them he said they source cards from many different places). Still cool regardless to see the grouping on cards available.

These modern Tallboys are not valuable at all, however, IMO, in relation to modern cards printed, these physical ePack cards could be rarer than many people think.
