His eBay is AlexKaz0. I’ll find his IG handle in a second. I sold him a Laffy Young Guns + Mikey Anderson Canvas YG Lot for $155 shipped, and now he’s returning them claiming they are “damaged,” even though I made him fully aware that I took meticulous photos to note condition and a video of the packing process because that’s become my SOP on any sales over $50ish as return fraud grows more prevalent. Unlike most Laffy young guns, this one was absolutely mint and went straight from pack to one touch, I posted pics in the box breaks section of this forum within 2 minutes of pulling the card. It was mint enough that multiple people mentioned how nice the corners were and my inbox had multiple interested buyers. The cards were shipped in one touches, inside a plastic team bag type thing, inside of a padded envelope. They couldn’t realistically have been damaged at any point before he received them.

Low and behold, I was sent his handle on Instagram and was told that he opened a ton of series 1 on video prior to our transaction and he pulled at least one laffy with rough enough corners that he complained audibly about it. I’m positive that he received the cards looking sharp as a tack, and I’ll attach high res pics taken shortly before I shipped to back that up. It feels like it’s almost a guarantee that he sent me back a different card with dinged edges, because there isn’t any other reason for him to force the return especially given my vociferous objections. I’m at a loss, going forward how the heck do I make sure this doesn’t happen? I write detailed and honest listings, photograph thoroughly, pack securely, And specify no returns. What else can I even do?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210123/c49176a447ea7b2b232c5859cb6abd2d.jpg

It's unfortunate, but you're likely screwed. The sportscard world is filled with unethical actors who take advantage of the buyer-favoring policies of eBay.

Yup, D-bags playing all the angles. Sucks for you I'm afraid. All you can do is present your case to eBay and then PayPal as necessary and hope for the best.
You should post this in the Members Trade/Feedback/Scammers section to out this loser to a larger audience.

Hate saying this but welcome to the club...

You have no idea how many times people have done this to me in 2020. I posted all their usernames in the trader section.

Unfortunately eBay will side with the buyer.

For anybody who is going to block....there are no capital letters in his eBay ID, so....alexkaz0....is the correct ID.
