Does anyone know where I can find master set checklists of all the Stellar Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cards? It's odd that there's not a lot of info out there - particularly about the later sets. I'm not even sure of exactly how many releases there were. I believe there were sets made every year from 2003 through 2009 and then one in 2012. Am I missing any? Jeff Allender's site only has checklists for 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. But I'd like to know what exactly is in all the sets. Thanks in advance for any help.

I forgot about these. There were sets from 03-09, as you stated. I bought many boxes of them over the years. The 2012 was more of a box set type thing, if I remember correctly. It was weird how it was packed. You'd get a base set, I think, the inserts and an auto/memorabilia and, something like extra base cards for really no reason I can recall. (?) I'd have to check on that. I do recall not buying the 2012 cases for that reason, and also because they really got expensive in relation to the older product. I remember getting '07 boxes for $40 each. I think those boxed sets were never below the $80-$90 per box range. Stellar used to have information on their website, but I have not checked to see if all the checklists/sell sheets are even still there anymore.

nabzy28, do you recall if either of the Marisa Miller autographs were short printed in 2004 boxes/cases? Some eBay listings I've seen have them as short printed, but I've never seen that stated anywhere "officially". And some say the back view Marisa auto is rarer than the front view. Do you know if this is true?

I believe I pulled both and watched listings on them back then. As far as I ever knew, neither was SP or reported as such. The only ones I vaguely recall people saying had SPs in them were the 2003's and, perhaps, some in '09. The 2003's very well may have just been overlooked, though, as they signed them directly on the regular base cards. I remember buying a larger lot of them a little while after release, and finding an autograph in what was supposed to be just a bunch of commons.

I enjoyed collecting those sets, especially the autos

I was able to find semi-complete checklists searching around Beckett's site. The printing plates are confusing, as they seem to have been released for every set even though the early set checklists make no mention of them at all. Thankfully I have no interest in plates. It definitely seems like the sets got a little weaker as they went on. The first two, 2003 and 2004, were by far the best in my opinion.

I think Stellar sold off all the plates to one large dealer. I remember them all being listed on eBay, in the groups of 4. Not 100% on whether they sold them all to one person, but one seller definitely had a lot of them for a while.
