Saw an 86 Fleer Jordan PSA 6 this on etsy (https://www.etsy.com/listing/941365218/1986-fleer-michael-jordan-rookie-57-psa?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details) tonight.

The number checked out legit and it was $1900. I almost pulled the trigger and decided to do some more research.

I was looking at ebay and saw the same number was recently sold and the same number is for sale now, but the card is different on one of the listings. On the Feb 2 listing, there's a break in the black in the lower left corner around the yellow which matches the etsy listing.

The 1986 Fleer Jordan RC is my grail, but all of this has me shook and I don't know if I'll ever be able to get a real one.

Same card in all three pics. Maybe that’s what you’re saying though, don’t understand thread.

Nah. In the middle pic, check the lower left corner of the yellow border. It's different than the other two.

I guess my point is that maybe there's a counterfeit PSA 6 floating around out there? Or maybe I'm just overtired and going crazy....

I see what you’re looking at, but it’s just the angle. It’s the same card, there are other little white marks on the edges that match up and the centering on those two certainly match.

I’m guessing the Etsy sale is just with stolen pictures and who ever thinks they bought it for $2k or whatever will not be receiving that card.

Ok. I think the Jordan hunting has driven me crazy and I’m over analyzing things. You’re probably right about the Etsy post being a scam. I feel like an old man yelling at a cloud.

Stay far away from etsy man unless you need fun ideas for a bridal shower.

Etsy seller luisgenor is also selling a LeBron 2003 Topps PSA 9. Before selling these two iconic cards, he sold natural wool socks.

Yeah but everyone knows the natural wool sock market has EXPLODED which would explain him being able to use the cash money he made there on some scrub RC cards like Lebron and Jordan.

I don't get the point of this thread. Seems like the same card.

OP just made an incorrect assumption. Upon further peer review, it appears he was wrong and they are indeed the same card. At different angles, they show different defects, leading him to believe they were different cards. the biggest giveaway that they are the same (and legit) in all three are the thin border on top from the T/B centering and the white edge speck on top middle edge.

Yes, OP made a mistake. Photos are of the same card. Etsy seller was a scammer, not a counterfeiter.
