My buddy has a bccg 8 and bccg 9 jordan rookie, he’s debating whether to regrade with PSA or bgs, versus send to goldin, or sell on eBay.
What do you guys think the best course of action would be?

What's the value difference between the BCCG grade and the minimum grade it represents in a PSA slab? Or 1 grade below that?

I always heard you subtract two grades from a BCCG slab. So a BCCG 9 becomes equivalent to PSA 7.

Yeah, I've heard the same, your expected grade is the BCCG grade -2 but obviously, 1 grade above or below that expected value wouldn't be surprising. I'd personally say to PSA it, I'd imagine that a PSA 7 would outsell a BCCG 9 and it also takes away any chance that the buyer tries to scum return on you if he cracks, subs to PSA, and gets a lower grade than he wanted.

Partially correct. BCCG scale starts with 5, which equates to a poor 1. VG 6 > 3. So read the grade words, instead of the number.
Definitely get those regraded by PSA or BGS before selling. I would probably go BGS first because it's cheaper, then maybe attempt a PSA crossover.

submit to PSA, the wait time will be worth it. By the time you submit and the time you get it back it could actually make you money by the card going up in value.

Sub to PSA, 100%. You will get considerably more, even when the card likely comes down a grade or two.
