I usually dont collect much basketball but I ran across a silver collection of Miles Bridges that I couldnt pass up 2 years ago. I really am more of a baseball collector, but like I said, I couldnt pass up this silver lot. At one point I had 210 of the silvers. I dont know a lot about him besides that he has been bouncing back and forth between being a starter and coming of the bench this year. So what do you think about him and his future potential? It was cool to see him as the rising stars MVP last year during the all-star break.

Edited 2/7 - found some more and apparently I cant count.
My current collection is:
49 Silver PSA 10s
90 Silver PSA 9s

Wow. With that said. He’s very exciting and prob top 5 dunker in the nba. He is a useful and good nba player. He is also still very young with time to develop. As far as hobby value he is not really a big name unless he greatly exceeds his progression likely won’t be . Great chance of being good nba player, not good chance of being a hobby guy other then his electric dunks.

His ceiling is Jason Richardson.

His floor is Fred Jones.

Right now, he's more like Fred Jones.

maybe when they have dunk contest again he will enter and win. Great dunker, he gets some amazing highlights with Lamelo

I'd sell off an even amount to make your total invested $0, starting with the 9's of course.

Yeah probably a good idea. I kinda got burned on one of my PSA subs when I sent in 160 silvers at once to PSA in the same sub. So I think Im going to take what 9s I have left and sell off the ones that I dont think can make a 10 on a resub. That should bring me back to even and still have all of the 10s left to hold. The trouble is trying to gauge at what price point to sell the 10s. The range this year has been $100 to $200 each.

Yea I would continue selling untill I was up a couple K. This way even if he never plans out... he did well for me.

I look at it like this... you could make 3 or 4k and still have a great stash. Spend that 3 or 4k on one stellar card. I'd go with a Lebron Rookie dime... but since you said your a baseball card enthusiast maybe you'd go with a nice Tatis or trout. But you would have free rolled into something you know is always going to be valuable.

Cool stash man. I always like seeing stuff like this and people who are able to collect sealed was and have mountains product.

Investment is starting to look pretty good! Cashing out some 9's that arent worthy of a regrade and letting the 10s ride.

As someone else said, keep selling until you have a nice profit then coast. Don't just break even. I've made that mistake before. Get a net gain, then take it easy and see if you can really make some dough.

I bought a Miles Bridges Goodwin auto because I think he's exclusive with UD and those are his only autographed RCs.

Seems to be gaining more popularity as he dunks over more people.

Anyone care to estimate what his new ceiling of price is for his silver PSA 10s? In the last year they have basically gone from $100 up to the current $350 to $400 price.

For every highlight reel dunk, +$50

Haha, that seems to be the way its going lately. If I only had a crystal ball to tell me if he is going to be even better next year and/or if the market will stay at these levels.

As a fellow MB collector I am holding. I got into him because he’s from my hometown and went to the same college. At 23 years old he is a top dunker in the league (according to SAS, the best dunker) and he’s on a team with a lot of potential stars. He’s getting playing time with Hayward out and showing he can do a lot more than people thought.

PSA 10 silver went for 435 at auction tonight. Cards I wanted last week are now out of my price range. Basketball is crazy.

I will take that opportunity to buy more. His stuff was already getting pretty pricey. A small correction would be ok.
