Lothar's Thread of What's it Worth? Starting off With LeBron

I have a few cards that I am going to randomly add here to see what educated members place their value at. I've been collecting for a little while, know how to check eBay for comps, but am scratching my head what $ to put on these in the current market.

First up - 2017-18 Prizm LeBron James Gold /10

What do you, oh BO wise ones, determine it's current value to be? Asking as I truly have not idea. Not Mosaic, not Select, not Crusade or any other Panini brand, straight Prizm. Not an insert, not a pulsar, straight base gold. I've looked and have zero recent comps. What say you?

The only real way to know would be to list on Ebay and take offers.

List it at $15K with best offer and see what type of offers you get!

Maybe in the 6-8k range?? Graded select around 4k, Lakers uni Optic /10 for 10k. :)!

I agree. If you are planning to sell the card at any point in the near future, the first step is to send it to PSA to be graded. Once it comes back, I would probably use a consignment service to sell a card of this value on eBay. Although, you could probably find a buyer here or on Instagram pretty easily for a Prizm true Gold Lebron.

I'd guess for insurance reasons

I'd put a price of $10k on that LeBron Gold TBH

I'd love some of the communities opinions on pricing for a Hoops Premium Gold Laser /10. Looks pretty clean to me besides a slight dimple on the top right border.

Yep insurance reasons. I need something to put down value wise as safety deposit boxes are not insured for contents. I talked with my insurance agent and the collectibles insurance policy is a no brainer for the price point. Thank you all that posted and messaged, I appreaciate the insight.

aaaaand here we go! Nope, not a card, but still very, very cool and I've never seen another one!

My LCS sells many cases of Goodwin Champions every year it releases, but more so when UD had the license. They ran a cool promotion for the 2012 release and Upper Deck backed them up with some prizes. For every box of Goodwin Champions you purchased, you were given a ticket for a drawing. There were packs of Goodwin, I think some UD clothing promos if I remember correctly, boxes, and this...which I was the joyous winner of!

2012 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions promotional poster signed by LeBron James and UDA authenticated. Includes the certification and I also have the original package with the shipping label from UD to my LCS. The sizing gives it a unique presentation as it is 18" wide by 36" tall, while the autograph is gigantic. I would love to hear your estimation on value!

Wow! Love that poster. Very cool. I like multisport and non-sport stuff like Goodwin and Allen and Ginter. Definitely need to get if framed and put it up on the wall to show it off. No idea on the value.
