There's no need to pump that card. It features 2 of the Top 3 hobby stars of all-time. It's a classic card no matter which way you cut it. It's a solid buy.

Off centered cards bother me a little bit too, but that's an awesome card! That's a purple correct? Goes great with the Cavs' red.

Love the card. I believe it's actually the only base Optic card that Kobe has even appeared on as he did not have a base card in the 2016-17 set, just inserts.

I’ve never sent anything in for grading, but I have so much garbage that is worth like 5x-10x in PSA 10. Might as well start sending and pray it gets back to me before the market crashes as predicted in that one thread by the person who started collecting last month. Or I guess I have until 2024 if I go by Vegas Dave’s prediction.

I think I'm similar to you. I don't grade my cards, but from Australia it's a mission. Although I have just sent 12 off through a 3rd party out here.

I think we'll continue to see Premiums paid for PSA 10s, the cost is pretty expensive now also.

But seeing these prices, it's worth sending some in. Fingers crossed I get some good news.

The 16/17 Optic looks like the next pumped set. And it is nice, makes sense.

I personally want a Chef Curry Holo from that set.

I’m sorry but the people claiming the market will “crash” are clowns. Cards aren’t something a major player can just dump and send the market into a tailspin. Those folks can certainly exit the hobby and prices will gradually move down. Now obviously if your collection is at psa in a 45 day sub the 8-10 months could be a rough ride if there was a mass exodus of buyers during that time.

I have a Curry. I’ll be keeping that regardless of what they go for. I have a holo Curry and Simmons from every year. My only regret is not nabbing a Curry gold when they were available and relatively affordable. I never saw cards taking off like this and just figured I had more time. Now I’m in a position where I’m selling off smaller player PCs just to keep up.

It feels like it’s really only a matter of time until everything is pumped. I’ve considered downsizing my collection even further if things continue to get out of hand.

Market doesnt need to crash. But certain players or cards do. Always have, always will.

One day your card can be worth 5k, a couple months later it will be 2k.

Then a few months later its 6k.

Most of the Rookies will crash. But that's nothing new.

And the pumps that are happening right now are also nothing new. Some of the prices are warranted, some are hilarious and I would think a lot of fake sales mixed in with some suckers.

I think people are underestimating the sports gambling culture, cards is a way safer way to gamble (buying singles of a player you think will be in the MVP race compared to betting on them to win).

The overseas market is just getting started. A lot more Auatralians buying also since a long time ago. And we're not hardly even getting cards in stores yet.

Ooooh yes, we all have our regrets.

It reminds me a lot of when Jordan stuff blew up. There was shilling and FOMO happening. New threads every day comparing scarcity and prices until it drove most things up.

I still think there's a lot of undervalued cards for any top player. Won't be for long though.

Holo’s were not easy pulled that year. I opened all the retail I could find and they were maybe 4 per box, maybe less. Pulled 10 Ben Simmons and never a holo. Pulled 5 lebrons and never a holo, good thing I kept a few of those and now are PSA 10’s. Centering was a major issue with 2016, especially the back. Also the shine on the cards are amazing. I too have an in My collection Curry Too bad the centering on front is off.

Nice. I have about 8-9 I was thinking of selling when they going for $40-50/ea, but never got around to it. Probably need to send them in for grading as they are all pretty clean, but might let someone else handle that chore if I can get $150/ea for them.

Yes. I love the football also. I have a Brady Holo as a PSA 10. Have to have it reslabbed. They forgot to put Holo on it. Have a Rodgers and Drew I need to send.
