So i walk into my LCS (Ardillo's Cards) today and saw exquisite on the shelf and of course i had to ask how much for a box? He Says (The owner "Chuck") 650$ is that the worst price youve heard so far? or no LMK?:)!

There is a very expensive shop near me, I bet w/ tax I could give you a run for your money. Maybe even $675.

Figure if wholesale replacement cost is say $500, do we really think 30% markup is too much? If so, I cant wait to hear everyone crying with the new Panini and UD distribution plans. Things will only get more costly for everyone.

Im not saying its a outrageous price because of course LCS owners have to make some profit off selling boxes! im all for it i just wanted to get some opinions on different products prices my LCS is carrying compared to your or whoever else's LCS

30% markup must be what the LCS start up guide suggest...my local expensive LCS also tells me he marks everything up 30%.

650 for a box of unlicensed football cards. Where is wheeler when we need him. I will buy 6 diffrent 100 dollar autos and 1 50 dollar auto on the bay. You break your box and we will see who comes out wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead. Upper deck has to love people paying crazy prices like this and they dont even have to pay an NFL licensing fee. Then they dont even answer there phone or emails when you have a problem with your cards. This hobby is starting to suck, its too bad too,I used to love collecting.

anything under 30% markup its hard to stay in business when i was in retail sales our markups was a minimum of 30% and on some items was as much as 60 to 70 %..
Just curious what is blowouts price on this? Im not buying any so havent looked much
I guess I am lucky my LCS is also a wholesaler to other shops so he is always close to internet pricing..He knows his competition is the online guys and he prices his boxes accordingly which is nice

Lexington Sports Cards has it for $510...
Save your money. These singles will tank just like Five Star (another product everyone raved about only to see the market crash). Pick up singles in a few weeks dirt cheap.

$510 is very cheap, atleast right now. The market will come down as always for this product but he would have a hard time replacing for the price muchless retailing for that price.. Hopefully he doesnt plan to restock.
