What are you guys putting for sales tax to be collected on ebay? I live in Texas and ebay used to collect it automatically but ever since ebay re-did their entire seller user interface it now gives me the option to collect sales tax by state or region for a set percentage when I am setting up a listing. I just ignored that setting on my latest listing and when it sold, I looked at the transaction and there was no sales tax collected (of course). I assume it is now solely on us to properly set this up.
I know on myslabs if I sell a slab to someone in Texas it will charge them tax. When I looked at my past ebay transactions it was automatically collecting tax for every state. I am doing my best to try to read and understand this but if someone has a simple answer that would be really helpful!
