ON Raw tonight John Cena challenged Rock to a match. The Rock accepted and said it will happen close to 1 year at WrestleMania 28, The Grandest Stage Of Em' All. What do you guys think?

WM 28 will be great in my eyes with
Rock vs. Cena
Taker 20-0 (retirement)
rumors on a world title unification
Newer stars in title matches like ABD, Miz, Barret, etc

What do you guys think?

Not sure how they are going to keep it interesting all that long, unless Rock pulls a Taker and comes back at the Rumble or something. They need some more returns, have Taker v. Lesnar, Viper vs. SCSA, Punk vs. Batista, Rey vs. SinCara, Miz vs. Morrison

It seems like a similar match to me. I doubt this would recieve more hype than Hogan/Rock, because honestly, is the Rock really better than Hulk Hogan? IMO, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

WWE REALLY didn't think this one through. Then night after WM is supposed to be advertising how great the previous night was, instead of just advertising the next one. This seems like a terrible ploy to bring up PPV sales for the next 11 PPV's. Bad move, McMahon.

Exactly. A year is a LONG time to hype a match. Not only will the fans get sick of hearing about it, there's a real chance one or both of them will get hurt and be unable to perform in a year. This is wrestling, after all, and McMahon should know by now he can't realistically book specific matches a year in advance. WWE should focus on WM 27 instead of already hyping 28...unless they're convinced 27 sucked balls and don't want to talk about it.

My other big concern about this is the possibility John Cena may not get into a rivalry with another WWE wrestler for another year, and he is quite famous for having rivalries (edge, Randy Orton, Nexus, Batista, JBL, hell, the list goes on and on.) This next year could either be amazing, or a complete bust, depending on whether or not we see the rock. They can't do promos a year before the match, can they? I'm sorry WWE, but unless Cena turns back heel and turns into a new SCSA, I can't see this next year working out very well.

I have a felling cena will be a monster heel. They are gonna eep boing and cena will eventually say to the adults and kids screw you all. Then Cena will become a badass. I sure hope

It'll be career vs streak match HHH vs. Taker.

probably taker will be done though so will take beat HHH and HHH is retired then Undertake Celebrates and say hes knocked out when he wins like this year and the druids will come out and put him in a casket and he will retire?

I think the Miz needs to be taken down a few notches by Hornswaggle.

I doubt it will be taker/hhh at WM 28. I think Undertaker will probably retire next year, so the streak needs to be ended. And HHH isn't the guy to do it.

If anyone should end it, it should be one of the new wrestlers. Alberto Del Rio is a strong possibility, but it should probably be Wade Barrett. He is one of the stronger superstars in WWE, and is undebateablly THE BEST on the mic, maybe in the past 5-10 years! But I could even see Sin Cara doing it, once he ends his feud with Seamus.

Long story short, undetaker will most likely retire after WM 28 win or lose, and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should HHH end the streak. There are only 3 people today that I could see ending it: John Cena (if he turns heel), Alberto Del Rio (IF he wins the WHC), and Wade Barrett (once he gets out of the CORRE).

Main event at WM 28: Hornswaggle rap-battles R-Truth :D Now I would pay to see that!

the only problem with UT retiring next year, is theres only 1 person really he hasnt faced at Wrestkemania..

hes feuded and beat Orton, Michaels x2, HHH x2, Kane x2, Edge...

the only person he hast faced is John Cena..that would be epic, but hes already booked against the Rock..

how can they possibly pass up the chance at a Taker/Cena streak match at Wrestlemania?

True, he hasn't faced Cena, and those two are undeniably the two best superstars the WWE has. But Taker is 46 years old. He has to go at some point, and I doubt he will wait out for JC another year. Have Taker fight the youth of the WWE, the future. There is not point in him fighting HHH for a third time, and sadly Cena is booked.

If Alberto Del Rio wins the WHC or WWE Championship, then I would support a match between the two at wrestlemania.

Who UT faces at the next WM is completely controlled by his hands and I wouldn't be surprised if his contract dictates that as well.

It's not going to be Cena....the riot would last for hours...see the first ECW One Night Stand.

In all honesty, the one final match I'd like UT to have at WM would be against McMahon himself. Find a way for McMahon to totally stack the odds (even an "if you win, you're fired" type option). Then if the streak goes unblemished, Taker goes out 20-0 legacy intact.

I am really not into wrestling anymore but a high school friend of mine texted me the other day and said one of our football teammates was on RAW, he was the QB of our team, Kevin Kiley but he goes by Alex Riley in WWE but apparently he is the Miz's understudy and I also saw him on youtube in a steel cage match with John Cena... anyways is he pretty popular in WWE? I just thought it was pretty cool a HS buddy was in WWE.

Riley isn't too popular, he just follows Miz around carrying the MITB briefcase looking like a tool and taking a finisher every other week

NOT AT ALL. As much as I think John Cena should be the one to break the streak, Rock and Taker never really had much of a rivalry. If it was SCSA, or Triple H, then it would make sense because of their feud 10 years ago. But Taker, no way.

Riley is popular in the sense that he gets a fair amount of air time, but other than me and Michael Cole everybody hates him :)
