Press Pass revealed today a blast from its own past — Crystal Ball inserts — slated for a return in 2011 Premium Racing.
As seen below in the first Jeff Gordon card, previous Crystal Ball cards were produced with elaborate foil etching and high-saturation images, giving collectors a glimpse at the driver’s future. In the late-April release of Premium, racing enthusiasts can expect a toned-down version of the concept, but still coupled with a degree of mysticism.
The forthcoming insert set is a 10-card offering — with a limited number of autographed versions — featuring drivers and their speculative destinies.
