Opened a journey to the rise of skywalker box recently on a hunch a couple days ago and I've been pretty perplexed with this auto. It is pretty clearly a Jimmy Vee auto on the front but on the back it states Kenny Baker, both of which are r2d2 actors. I'm pretty new to card collecting in general (only a couple months experience) and very new to the community surrounding it so I'm wondering if this is common or possibly has any value!

Well it's definitely an error. No idea how common an error. I can tell you I pulled a Jimmy Vee R2-D2 base (green) auto from the same set and it had the correct back: A-JV Jimmy Vee as R2-D2.
If it was a Kenny Baker auto on a Jimmy Vee back it might be worth big bucks. Not sure about the other way around. Although I'm not 100% sure if Kenny Baker autos are actually in this set even though he's listed on the checklist. I've only ever seen Jimmy Vee as R2-D2 autos.

Well, it's a sticker auto. So it could just be a production screw-up, of the assembler putting it on the wrong card (same front). But if multiple people are putting together "master sets" of this issue, it would have decent value.

Interesting card, I'm sure you will be able to find some collector who wants it as a variant and is willing to pay more than a regular Vee auto.

I feel like someone posted the opposite happening to them a few years ago. Maybe the 2 of you can switch stickers! LOL

I remember there being a lot of questions asked about whether the Kenny Baker sticker autos were signed by someone else.
