Just had a signature package delivered today where the mailman actually rang my doorbell and had me sign. He said starting last week they were back to having signature packages actually signed for. Not sure if that is a local thing or national. Anyone else have signature packages actually requiring a signature now?

Never stopped it here. They have always left notice to go to PO and get it.

My signature package last week was dropped at my doorstep.

Although, this was a regular occurrence well before Covid-19 ever surfaced.

I was signing for my packages online until it changed in the last week. It worked great for me because the package is delivered to a lock box in a secure mailbox. I missed one of my packages today because (big shocker) I was at work in the middle of the day.

That sounds like a good system. For a lot of people the mailman has been signing and just leaving at your door because of covid.
