So today when I got my mailday from Panini I thought I was going to be super excited and get my 1/1 Shield Signature card of Demaryius Thomas...

...what I got instead was a plain old RPM material card /299.

This must be some joke right?? I went and tried to call them but of course I called right at 5 cst, so they didn't want to pick up my call and instead get the hell out of there from all the mistakes they made and customers complaining about them...LOL

Any advice other than to just keep calling??

Yeah keep calling and when they (or if they) finally answer tell them they can shove the card they sent you up their ass! lol.. that's so stupid

Ohhh man, I bet the person expecting the RPM /299 who got this crapped their pants. If they mixed it up, that is.

I mean at least the RPM was auto'd...but giving me a card /299 instead of my 1/1 is absolutely freaking ridiculous...

Panini has Facebook/Twitter accounts right? Bomb them on there for faster results.

Has anyone else ever had something like this happen to them?? Btw, if you are the person that was lucky enough to receive my card...I'd love to see what it was supposed to look like :)

If I was at Panini I'm a little concerned, seems the QA errors coming outta that company are growing by the day...

I know it sucks, but remember being polite about it goes a long way.

I've had mix ups with them before on redemptions. You need to call them. they'll look at the orginal redemption code that was put into the system, compare it to what you got, and fix it. I know with mine they had me send it back (which I barted a free pack since it was going to cost me money to get what was mine originally when they screwed up), but they had no problems doing that.

That's pretty bad.

They actually called me today and didn't have the card to replace one I sent in that was damaged (Mardy Gilyard), so they asked what team and I said Steelers...so figure I'll end up with Dwyer...or worse. lol. We shall see.

I completely understand that I have to be very polite with this otherwise I will never get what I was supposed to. I just find it a little ridiculous because a card numbered to 299 is nothing close to a 1/1. I don't even understand how that's possible. Hopefully they will fix it and make it right.

I have been polite with them for 5 months now. I have no more patience.

Great pic! Couldn't have been better unless it was the famous "monkey peeing in his own mouth".

They'll probably offer you "Frrree Trrrucker cap!"

Well I was able to get through to the Customer Service on the first try...and I just overnighted the package back and opened a complaint. Let's see how long it takes for them to acknowledge everything after I see they received it.

Just clarifying here... you're saying that Panini accepted your shipment to them on 3/17/2011? If that's the case, i've had a couple of cards I sent back in for replacement and they have taken a month or more to replace. Send them emails, calls, reply back in your account info. I'm sure they get sick of it, but it would be nice to see the product I paid for, and in good condition!
