I went back through a box I got at a flea market years ago that was full of 90’s basketball. Turns out there was an almost halfway completed (47/100) set of 1995-96 Skybox E-XL. I really like this set and was thinking about completing it. There was about 20 of the blue parallels as well. There is only 100 cards in the base set, so it wouldn’t be that hard and most of the players are at least relevant today. Wondering if this would be worth the effort. No MJ or KG but some of the other big names are there. Really concerned that I would have to pay a premium + shipping to get it done.

I am not sure what you mean by worth the effort. If you like the set go for it.
You can use COMC to pick up all of the cards you need and then ship them all at once.
I use it all of the time to work on sets I am doing.

I was going to try to do the blue in all PSA 10 but gave up on it after going about 50/50 on 9's and 10's. I still have a bunch of the blues and base as well. PM me if you are interested and I'll make you a deal. Just have to dig them out. Personally, I feel it is a very underrated set.

Sportslot sells $.18 commons and as long as you buy them from the same seller, you pay a flat shipping fee. I would probably use COMC for KG and Jordan but I would use Sportslot for the rest. It really is a beautiful set.
