I’ve been looking to add a 2nd Jordan auto to my PC for my Sons…I have one, and wanted to add another to pass down, and came across this one…what happened to it? Sunlight? Is it the material the card is made with?

Those auto focus autos are notorious for fading. Just a crappy surface to sign on.

I have an auto focus D Rose from 08 that is still as crisp and blue as the day I got it slabbed. Is it certain years that have issues?

I think at one point in time mostly all autos on any acetate type card will fade. I dont understand why they keep making them.

That’s a shame! Guy has an easy 7-8k card there that’s now virtually worthless!

If the card wasn't shown around in dealer cases, or at home staring at lights, it could save the ink on the card. All my autographs on cards (Autographics, Topps Auto), bats, basketballs and footballs from the 90s, all of them have bold ink. Store it in the closet it can preserve ink. It didn't work with 1997-98 Topps Chrome BKB, all of the cards has greening most likely from humidity area (went through couple hurricanes with no power for days, week).

Good point! All of my autos and upper value cards are stored in fire/water proof safes and see light maybe once a year.
