Always been a fan of the jazz since I was a child, watching Malone and Stockton
Getting back into NBA collecting and looking up some rookies/newer players to collect
I understand why players like Trae, Doncic, and Ja are so hyped, but perplexed as to why Donovan Mitchell is as underhyped. His rookie Autos don't seem to price very highly though?
Is this a good time to buy some of his RCs?

I’ve bought for two off-seasons to flip and did well each time because I always found his cards to be undervalued given his talent/potential. Sold some for a nice profit, but kept a nice one for the PC. I actually became a huge fan of his in the process of following his career more closely. His game is just plain fun to watch.
His cards have gained, but still plenty of room on a lot of stuff. Mitchell has a ton of sticker autos that I would avoid, but the Optic and Revolution autos are affordable and on card.
What usually happens is there is some sort of all or nothing thought around each draft class. Tatum quickly became the chosen one out of 17-18 and drew most of the attention while Mitchell quietly produced. Tatum is also in Boston while Mitchell is in Utah, which doesn’t help with national attention. Tatum is a fantastic player as is Mitchell, but the gap between prices was always a little too much.
Mitchell has gotten better every year, but has failed to make a deep postseason run to really solidify the Jazz as a true contender in the minds of fans. It is worth noting that Mitchell has performed extremely well in the postseason with some impressive tallies, but everyone wants to see rings.
At this point, I think he’s a great long term play because I think his stuff will climb steadily as he puts up fantastic numbers each year and is an exciting player to watch with excellent annual production and a long career ahead of him.

Some people are starting to pick him up, but still plenty of good value out there on him.
He is a great player with a ton of potential. Grab his autos/rare stuff while you can

I see some of his auto like Rookie Roll Call for under 200 CAD, is that considered a fair price?

I would personally avoid that one just because it’s his college jersey. Just my two cents.
