Best Office Chair Out There?

Hey everybody! I’m out in the market for an office chair as I’m tired of working 8+ hours a day sitting room in a kitchen chair… I’ve gone to Office Depot and Staples this week and sat in every chair they offer. I’ve read some reviews but they all seem to be hit or miss.

Anyone have any suggestions? I’m open the ergonomic or “leather” chairs. I rather not spend more than $300. I’m 6’4 175 pounds if that matters.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Costco has a couple of options in your price range, The bayside office chair and the Lazboy manager chair. The bayside is an mesh ergo chair but, based on your height might be too low on the back support side. The lazboy is a executive style chair with a higher back and headrest might be more more suitable for your size. You might want to consider a gaming chair which are ergo designed for long hours of sitting, although these may be a little out of your price range.

See if you can get a Herman Miller Mirra 2 or Aeron chair on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Office buildings everywhere are liquidating new or like new Herman Miller ergonomic chairs now that workplaces (especially tech companies), have committed to full time remote. You can get these $1,000 chairs for $200-300 if you do your homework!

Yeah I’ve been going through Facebook and Craigslist for a few weeks now and been shut out unfortunately. Going to give that another week or so then pull the trigger on a new chair
