Hi all, came across some listings on Ebay - a guy is selling autos of Kobe, Jordan, Lebron, Magic, etc ... These all have to be fake right? Just doing a double take because they look so good. The Kobe metal one even has a scoreboard stamp and COA from Ken Goldin but I have to assume it's fake too right?

His description basically admits they are most likely fake.

50% restock fee—is that allowed?

What a scam because if you get that, you can sell it repeatedly until it’s not returned and protect yourself with broad yet accurate language

Scary good fakes but fakes... You can really tell on the one posted by the OP. forgers shouldn't use gold/silver paint pens/sharpies it makes it easy to see your stop and start points! Clearly started and stopped at each "challenging" part of the autos.
6.99 for shipping? Oh thank goodness he offers combined shipping for $1 more.

My first red flag is a perfect auto on a base card—very few IP autos look like sit-down/show sigs

Garbage. That same "COA" printout with Ken Goldins name has been circulating for years.

The mjx auto looked immediately off to me, specifically the topmost part of the "M"

Granted I'm not an auto guy well-versed in signatures at all, but there was a thread a few years back with a fake mj auto or 2 that I swore was real. It was the best fake I had ever seen. I almost commented "yea, you're good" like a complete moron, thankfully I bit my tongue.

No, only up to 20%

These Jordan fakes have been around forever, and while they're not particularly bad, they're not very hard to spot either. They have a few consistent flaws that carry over from autograph to autograph.

Definitely not good enough to pass third party authentication.

Another reason MJ isn't motivated to sell his NIL. If it's not from Upper Deck, it's probably fake.
