Did PWCC just kill their ebay sales history tool?

Saw it was down last night for a couple of hours and now it appears to only be showing past sales of items that were featured in PWCC auctions.

Well, I sure hope "exciting database improvements" doesn't mean removing all ebay sales and only showing sales from PWCC auctions. Pretty much kills about 80% of the usefulness of the tool.

Nope. But neither does PWCC. And Card Ladder does a whole lot more than just give you individual data points.

Yes PWCC does, that was the whole value of the tool lol. You could search up a card and see individual sales of it on ebay from 15+ years ago. Search tools like 130point and cardladder are fine for cards that are sold fairly frequently, but for truly rare stuff that may only be sold once every few years that past sales data was incredibly valuable.

Except the fact that the last two years of BINs are completely worthless since it only reports the listed price, not the actual sale price. Card Ladder gets the sales prices.

This was guaranteed to happen once eBay removed them from their site. It was a nice tool but it also missed a lot of sales even though they said the sales data went back to 2005. I'm not super bummed about it though since I was expecting this to happen and we have new players in this realm - i.e. Card Ladder.

It was decent while it lasted- certainly not comprehensive, but another tool to check as needed. Now on the site it's simply called "PWCC sales history." Card ladder would be great if it cared about anything that wasn't shiny. Ii tried to use it but 90% of cards in my collection (Wilt, West) are not in their database.

It was still nice to see auction data. I have nothing against Card Ladder, but they don't have like 99% of the cards I was looking up on PWCC.

Looking for a good alternative as well now. PWCC also had past ebay sales data for non-sports cards which was really useful.
