HRs through age 30

I was doing some research today on the most HRs through age 30 (mostly because I was trying to see how well Machado and Harper stacked up.) I was almost dumbstruck seeing how many HRs Andruw Jones had.

My first reaction was that this is definitely a reminder that being "on track" or "clearly a HOFer" should be treated lightly for younger and even middle-aged players. But upon further reflection, the fact that only Jones flamed out from here does pull in the other direction.

Only 3 of Jones' home runs were with the Dodgers. As a 30-year Dodgers season ticket holder, I forget he even played for us. What a bummer for what could have been.

Amazing that out of the 10 players on this list, three are Braves. And of those three, Andruw holds the franchise's single season home run record with 51 in 2005.

If someone asked me to describe Blowout, I would say it’s the only place I’ve ever seen where someone has trashed Griffey like this, and I’ve seen it multiple times. (Possible it’s the same person, don’t really pay attention to names)

I dealt with Jr and his family a decent amount when I lived in Orlando, and while I can't speak as to whether or not he cheated (don't personally think he did) he was always very gracious and accommodating to fans any time I saw interactions. And it was many times.
