View Full Version : A BGS Customer Service Success Story

In the last few years a lot of companies catch a lot of flak for their poor customer service, and in most cases rightfully so. I just wanted to share a quick BGS success story amidst the sea of complaints.

In late summer 2020 like many of us, I sent in a 5 card 30-day economy submission of mid-high end prospect autos to Beckett. Silence for 4 months before I got the notification in December my order was even logged. No big deal, I'm a fairly patient person, no real rush to get the cards back. Fast forward a few more months and life happens, my fiance finished up her DDS and got a great job offer back home in SD.

We moved back this July and on August 18th I got a shipping notification from BGS on my 5 card order. Problem is, they shipped it to my previous address which was in Denver. Once again, not the end of the world as it gives me an excuse to see with some friends and family still there. Followed tracking, had it held at a location close to my previous address and booked a flight to pick it up. Day before I'm scheduled to leave I get a bad cough, fever, sniffles, and a positive COVID test. Had to cancel my flight and immediately sent off an email to BGS customer service but since it was Friday night I didn't hear anything until Monday morning.

Monday morning rolls around and Fedex returns the package to sender per their policy but Ryan from BGS reaches out to me with a phone call and explains that as soon as the package arrives back to beckett he'll have it rerouted to my current address. Didn't even need a follow-up email or call, before the end of the week the package was already on its way back to me and today FedEx dropped it off on my front door step. And because everyone likes pictures here is one of my favorite cards from the submission:

TL;DR: I messed up shipping address, beckett fixed the issue without any hesitation or complication, picture of nice card

Ryan has always been helpful for me. I miss all the grading discounts he'd be able to offer.
