I remember seeing these cards from you I think in the Bichette thread. Love it! Blue Jays and Royals I think are great teams to color match parellels for value.

Looking at my Sterlings the blues are terrible aesthetically. I only have them to fill the rainbows.

It's also boring to color match a white Juan Soto Nationals uniform or a silver Houston uniform. Does not have the same appeal.

I have a likely trade in the works right now with our friend eye4talent here to get a Vintage Stock Yordan! Hopefully I don't mess it up.

Love the small numbering and uniqueness. Also need to get the Juan of this card still.

Guess that's what a 1 year lead time does to people though!

And he didn't auto the 2020 Sterling set except for the dual auto cards with Yordan. So couldn't be 11/25 auto sterling.

All 3 are Jersey numbered. Pulled the Refractor from my first case ever while he was still in minors. First card I graded, sent in by itself spring before his rookie season. Got the gold off eBay during his rookie season. The Xfractor popped up on eBay the night the Cubs won the World Series.

That's amazing! You are in the hobby for a while and for the right reasons if you still have that refractor. I get down on flippers who are just looking for quick profit. Love collectors who hold long term and take profits as they come.

PM me if you want a Justin Bowman Sterling Rookie. I pulled it myself last year and would give a deal to a Justin collector.

Also I can relate to your story. I got back into cards with Bowman Sterling. Pulled a low numbered Marco. Instead of selling I took opposite approach of collecting him.

I actually went back and found the break video when it was pulled and it is 24/25. I guess in a years time I made myself think it was jersey # :D

My attorneys made me add the disclaimer. Too much liability if PSA wanted to go after me for libel, or if notsofast decided to sue for emotional distress…

Would be great to see Topps do a team-colors refractor that features a two-color border. So it’s a two-card effort for now with my Giants. (I still need a Posey ‘13 BC, so the ‘16 will have to do as a placeholder.)

This Anderson is one of my favorite cards. I just wish I had gotten the Opening Day black foil 1/1 when I had the chance…

And congrats on that Aaron. I always think Jersey Numbers for players with number >25 should have an even higher appreciation as generally less of them in a set.

Your right, can't be many other Soto red jersey numbers. And it's my favorite player with a color matching patch.

The blue and black borders on 02 bowman chrome match nicely with the blue jersey and black glove on Greinke. The blue slab is also a nice color match with the card.
