I'm fairly knowledagable about 2012 Topps baseball, but every now and then I see something new. Even almost 10 years after the product came out.
When I see something new, I do some research and figure it out.
Here's something I can not figure out. no mention of it that I can find.
it looks like the coin that is part of the 2012 Topps Golden Greats Coin Jackie Robinson GGC-JR # xx/42 ....... but there is no card itself.
anybody know how this got into the wild? Topps doesn't usually let things out the back door.
was it some kind of promotional giveaway at a few hobby stores?
or a consolation prize to those who got a golden ticket, but didn't win the gold autographed baseball?
perhaps a hand out at the dealers summit?
