I have come in the possession of a few nice autographed baseballs, that I would like to have graded, authenticated and possibly encapsulated.

Has anyone done this before? What's the process? Any recommendations of which service to use?

What are the turn around times? Are they as backed up as grading cards or a separate division service?

Thanks.

Beckett offers a pre-authentication for just $10 per signature (I believe PSA offers a similar service, but only for items that are currently at auction, for some reason). They will provide their opinion on whether the signature in question is authentic, fake, or undetermined.

You can then move to full authentication on the ones that have been deemed authentic if you choose.

The rest of your questions can be answered by Beckett.

Thanks for that link, I'll give that a go to start.

Was also wondering anybody else's experience and current turn around times.

Thanks!

Little update, I submitted pictures and paid for a pre authentication from Beckett, I got the results back within exactly 2 minutes...seems strange. Positive results for the item but odd never the less.
