He appears to have fixed his image, been playing well and is now heading to the Superb Owl.

Looks like his days of punching kicking nets are over...

So how will history remember OBJ's card prices?

Is he Lebron or MJ?

He has fixed his image, or at least improved it, but his collectability has faded.

IMO, the only way he can move the needle is if he has a monster game in the SB, but I don't see that happening, especially with Kupp getting the lions share of targets from Stafford.

A very solid #2 WR. Kupp makes things way easier for Odell.

You might be able to finally sell your overpriced BGS 9.5/10 Odell Beckham Platinum Red Auto RC that’s been available for 5 years. :)!

Check out his eBay fellas and hype it up :)

So you were the one who messaged me and asked if I'd consider trading it towards a Jameis Winston Valor rookie HGA 10

I’d never offer more than that Odell is worth.

That door is open depending on how the Bengals scheme the defense. It's not uncommon for the skill player stars to underperform in the Super Bowl. If Stafford is on target and Kupp is covered up, then OBJ will get a lot more action. I certainly wouldn't anticipate massive movement on his rookie cards barring a 3TD type winning game, perhaps with a circus catch involved. One thing that helps OBJ more than any other receiver is everyone remembers "The Catch". His 2015 Chrome featuring that catch often sells for more than the rookie chrome. Same with the parallels. He probably has little chance at the Hall barring a few monster seasons, but has the name recognition to get some hobby buzz if he shows up.

These diva receivers have to go through this sort of “image thing”. Makes me appreciate Julio Jones, AJ Green, D. Adams and Calvin Johnson type guys more. Just shut up and play football. All the ability in the world yet it’s their chemistry issues on the teams they play for that cause issues where no one wants them. Maybe OBJ has fixed it but it won’t be long before he’s demanding he ball more and whining when he doesn’t get it.

Yeah, the 2015 Topps Chrome is always going to have some value, particularly the sp'ed parallels. It's rare you get such a truly iconic moment captured perfectly on a base card. Otherwise a big game in the SB and a ring may elevate him slightly, but he'll probably never make the hall and no one is going to retire from his rookies.

Wait if they start losing and he don't get they ball. Odell will always be Odell. Just like Josh Gordon will always be Josh Gordon. Some things never change.

Can't compare Odell Beckham Jr. to habitual drug user/knucklehead Josh Gordon.

Josh Gordon>Antonio Brown>Terrell Owens>Odell Beckham Jr>Chad Johnson

There’s always some weird, diva WR with issues

Is this ranking in order of amount of career squandered due to diva shenanigans? Or by biggest issues a wr has wrought on a fan base?
