Arenado comes to mind.
I know it's not recent but A-Rod was probably the first by current Megadeal standards.

Mark Buehrle - He signed a 4 year $58 million dollar contract with the Miami Marlins in 2011. Played one year with the Marlins and was then traded to the Blue Jays with Jose Reyes, Josh Johnson plus others.
Jose Reyes - Signed a six year $106 million deal with the Marlins. Played one year with the Marlins
Both were traded after 1 year.

Prince Fielder - 9 year $214 million dollar contract with the Detroit Tigers. Traded 2 years later to the Rangers.
